If they can launch a 2014 model car y not upgrade the swift to new shape ? N upgrade its engine i dnt know y they make such worst decisions k series engines r fuel efficient n swift dnt sell due to that plus it will be a bonus to have new shape company sale will definately increase for sure

They are waiting for Swift's old plant's full deprecation. Once it is done, they will sell it to kabard and then start production of new Swift on new plant. It will take few more years. So just keep waiting.

NaPak Suzuki gets its Plants from Suzuki Japan for free. Suzuki Japan only throw away their old plants when production of current car model has to be stopped.

Now since Suzuki Vitara is going to be a huge flop because of its price, we may expect them to launch some smaller cars in coming years.

Plus I am quite sure Suzuki has hired bunch of retards to make its policies. Suzuki did not learn from the Kizashi failure and they launched Vitara instead of launching budgets cars that people could actually afford.

Ciaz and Celerio aka new cultus will be launched in 2017, Ciaz will be CKD while Celerio will have most local parts. I have also heard that mehran will get Immobilizer. There is a chance that mehran will continue and other 660 car most probably Alto will be launched soon.

Ciaz launching in the first week of Feb. Price est: 17 for M/T, 18.5 for A/T.

Celerio has been named the New Cultus - will launch when stock of current Cultus runs out - probably by March.

Who gave Suzuki the idea to call new Celerio as "Cultus"?
Because the image posted above clearly indicates that Celerio is going to be the New Cultus.

Besides if they called this Cultus, there would be positive impact on resale value of old cultus. People will keep buying that for higher price.

PakSuzuki has increased prices of wagonR. Now its 1069,000. Swift is 1329,000. If they launch now, Celerio needs to be in 1100,000-1200,000 range. I doubt they would do that since Cultus will end at 1124,000. So my guess is that price of swift will increase to around 1400,000 and then they would launch Celerio at 1250,000. Since whenever a new model launches, it is slightly more expensive than the last one.
But I do hope they launch it with a CVT transmission. Thay way it can give a tough competition to JDM hatchbacks.

Celerio has semi-automated transmission. But in Pakistan they will launch manual variants.
