By semi-automated you are referring to automated-manual transmission that is available in Maruti Suzuki Celerio of India? As far as I know, thats only in India as in Maruti developed it independanly. Other countries have regular automatic and CVT.

Forget about CVT. Even if they provide that semi-automated transmission in Pakistan that will be huge leap for Suzuki Pakistan.

we will get CVT here if they launch it here. CVT will cost around 12-13 lakh here if we compare celerio cvt prices in Philippines and Indonesia from where PAK Suzuki will import CKDs.

Apv and jimny are well above 2m pkr and you expect a better and a fully loaded ciaz to be just 1.8m.. another haha

I expect cias tu b higher then city aspire because ciaz will be a cbu import just like jimny apv and kizashi.. cbu always have high prices but good quality.. so im personally expecting ciaz to be around 2500k.. when kizashi can be 5000k then you can expect anything.Celerio will be around 1300k atleast.. my personal opinion.

@arsalannn The dealer proved to be right in case of Ciaz and also in case of Vitara (he said 3.5m-4.0m). Ciaz is 1699 and 1839...the same as I quoted and nowhere near the 2.5m you expected.

I think Ciaz should be priced less than a City and that could be possible if they start assembling it here. PakSuzuki needs to compete in the 1.3L segment but avoid the mistakes they made in the past. Stop waiting so long and changing cars. Bring a model and regularly update it so customers know PS is serious about this segment.

Name matters a lot. People buy old Rolla because it's Toyota Corolla. And Mehran, People know it by the name. People follow the trend. Learn something about it.

Plus the expensive spares of old Cultus that Suzuki still has to sell in coming years. That matters a lot. Bad resale value means lower spare parts prices. Suzuki is not going to risk anything.

Alto 660cc will be launched in 2018 or later. It might replace Mehran. (But who knows, Suzuki might keep producing Mehran alongside Alto)

I have seen new Alto 660cc JDM import on the roads of Lahore. Look of this car is not that bad. People just get used to new looks. Look at Wagon R. When it was launched, majority of people were blabbing it's an Ugly car. But now it has become a hotcake.
