I am sure if Suzuki rename Ciaz to new Baleno, old Baleno (whose productions was stopped 12 years ago) resale will slightly increase or sustain over the years. But the criteria is "new Baleno" do not flop in presence of better alternatives from other manufacturers.
In US, Suzuki could not compete with other car manufacturers because of odd car shapes, high prices, unavailability of spares (yes spares were not easily available in open markets. Even Americans prefer buying spares from spare parts shops because this way they can save some money) and somewhat build Quality. If Suzuki today launch this "Mehran" or new Alto 660cc with all goodies & features in US, these will be huge flop because long heighted fat a*se Americans who can't fit in large cars, would never be able to fit in these small mouse traps.
