Nothing special. They would inspect your car briefly, check and tighten nut bolts, check fluid levels etc. You may also discuss any issue which needs to be resolved. In my case, they hardly took 20 minutes to do so. I was having problems shifting the car in reverse gear (required some efforts), to which I got the ready-made reply that gear would become smoother than before after 5000 KMs. Changed gear oil at 5000 Kms inspection (as recommended in manual), after which it required some efforts to put the car in first gear

Nothing new. Reverse gear gets stuck in my Cultus as well. It's a typical issue with Suzuki cars.

By the way, did you sell your car? For how much?

Thank you and yes Dr. sahab and Chaudhary sahab, my Wagon R VXL has eventually been sold out at a reasonable price, Alhumdulillaah but it was neither sold out via OLX nor PakWheels Jab gaari khari thi tu koi serious nahi tha, aur jis din bikki, usi din log phone kar kay afsos kar rahay hain kay gari unko kyun nahi di. Paki people zindabaad

Wa alaykum us salaam. Recommended air pressure for stock tyres is 36 psi as written in Suzuki manual. I have probably seen the very first Wagon R in red colour. Nevertheless, congratulations for the purchase. May it serve you well, Aameen. Alloy wheels have nothing to do with car's life. It's your personal preference whether you want to opt for alloys or covers, though alloys look more beautiful than covers, but they may reduce the mileage a bit, being heavier than covers.

Only upgrade tyres . 175 70 13 . It will improve looks and road group and very minor diff on mileage . I got them replaced on very first day and have done 40000 KM's till date . No problem till now .

They will open them, because they have nothing much to do...

yes u r right bro.. they have nothing much to do in first inspection..they just kill time time to make u show that they are doing something..just cleaned air filter, plugs and nut bolt tightning and asked me u can take ur car home,,when i insisted they checked it with hand held computer..but im not impressed with PS...

My Experiece of WagonR

1. The engine has good torque on low RPM. I mean in other cars, I have to push the race hard after crossing any speed breaker. But this is not the case with Wagon R. It regain the momentum right after crossing the jump with very light foot.
2. The tyre have very low rolling resistance. You can easily cover a mile a car in idle position after neutral gear at 80 km/h speed
3. The front bumber is very low. I barely missed many time hitting from front any big stone or footpath. Moreover the front of the car is not visible from inside. It is very difficult judge at parking to stop hitting a foot path

Good to know you bought it from Khalid Motors. How is the behavior of staff there? I have intention to buy my next car from them as i have come to know they are on 3rd number in Suzuki ranking for dealership in Lahore. Previously the location of this dealership was not good but after the upgradation of road in front of it, its location has become prime.

And no need to upgrade rims. Stock rims are also good. But if you want to upgrade look then you may go for them.

mashallah, Allah Taala bkhair o affiat istamaal karana naseeb farmae.
Alloy Rims is your personal choice but the ones available in market are cheap chinese and heavy as compared to steel rims you got with your car, however quality Alloy rims are those which are made of Aluminum Alloy and those should be light in weight, otherwise use less and will decrease fuel efficiency and load on steering / suspension.

My car has chineses alloys on 175 70 r13, they are not that heavy and with full ac i get 14-14.5km/l every time. Without ac i checked once and i got 16.5km/l all within city driving.

I compared steel rim weight with alloy rim by holding each in each hands i dont find huge differnce in weight.
