Totally agreed with both brothers. To add, the definition of 'best' varies within the mind of every person. What is 'best' in my sight can be 'worst' in some one else's eyes. All one should do is to 'agree to disagree'.

I have never seen a car older than that of my uncle's. He has a 2-door Toyota Corolla, more than 40 years old model of 1970s. He is still using it, and to him, that car is dearer than even a PKR 500 Million worth of Lamborghini Veneno Roadster, because he knows that driving a cheap old car, which he can afford, in real world, is better than driving a Lamborghini Veneno Roadster in dream world.

We bought Wagon R most importantly because our budget can afford a brand new car within this range only. Wagon R can be a 'dabba', or choice of 'old baba' etc in some one else's eyes, but then what I always say, I agree to disagree. Cheers

Bro the thing is if u are on pakwheels. it means u have some interest, passion in what ur driving and I honestly think if one can dish out 11 for wagon r then they can do a few more for a swift or a city not lambos or ferrari s. the point is I have seen people coming to showroom buying cars and their main priority is getting. A car is which will fit in their drive way, where I disagree Is that why they don't make their drive way to fit the car. Here on pakwheels i expect that people are here because of their passion about cars. Not because it seems practical. Cars are instruments of freedom. Not just a way to get from point A to B

Totally agree with you, I kept Two Suzuki Swifts one pearl blue and the other one mahroon(which i still have) now I have Wagon R ,

Agreed Suzuki Swift is more powerful and more responsive to drive at high speed but
Suzuki Swift lacks in:
1. It has a cheap plastic dashboard(Agr yajeen na ay to Swift Owners driver side k mirroe down kr k door close kro and you will listen dak dak sound, guys at Suzuki Showroom said to me ya asa he ha)

2. Pathetic fuel consumption, max 12 km/liter wo be Allah agr ap ki sun la to.

3. Hard suspension

4. Driving seats are not comfortable I had replaced the driving seat in warranty, (proves are on Suzuki Swift Owners Fan Club)

On the other side Wagon R is not packed with luxury but as the Advertisiment slogan says "BE PRACTICAL" so you can get more than this car in 11 lac.

Well firstly u can get more than 12 I have one so I know, secondly it's suspension is hard because it contributes to it being sporty and don't have any problem with seats and door panels at 81 k, it's the 2010 model before the dlx and dx, it's the issue with Suzuki quality after localization of parts and as.wagonR is also from Suzuki same can be expected in the later models. and if the goal is just more for less than how about getting. A rickshaw it has only three wheels, so that's one wheel less to worry about, very direct and precise steering, no doors so u can hoop in and out that's also the keyless entry and exit (first in market) feature excellent fuel millage even better than award winning prius and best thing is it pays for itself when u are not chugging around 8 kids u can use it to give lifts and make some money

Using Wagon R , have done 7000 KM's so far , top speed was 170 on M2 , who said that road grip is not good. using 175 70 13 . fuel consumption is excellent . 100 % satisfied that i made right choice as i was going for cultus before. Thank GOD got Wagon R . Mini Luxury car. You would start loving it from very first day . One more thing people talking about shape , hey man its WAGON R . (WAGON RECREATION) and for kind info. its not for very big family like some one said 09 kids bla bla bla. its normal car with wagon shape but superb product of suzuki . Not comparing it with swift off course . Milage ka zameen asmaan ka faraq hai . I am not a fool who would go for 1300 cc car in hatchback. I would rather go for city then.

Searched on pakwheels and found nothing different worth additional 40K except power windows and central locking.

Can someone mention the differences?

Like Muhammad Ahmed sb correctly pointed out, none of us is a suzuki employee here. If one doesnt like a wagon R, he can go ahead and buy anything he likes, and we would be happy for him. But to go on and on with a pointless argument is not entertaining at all - especially at a vehicle owner's club.

Bro that would mean u will only get to hear only good points what ever they may be and never the other side let me summarize it for u. basically it's ur choice buy and keep crappy wagonR and look at better cars with envy or get behind the idea of breaking local manufacturers monopoly by buying sensibly, not whatever they dish out. and when there is a will there is a way.

I have seen many forums where people complain that they don't get enough choice of cars in Pakistan, I am sure u would have done the same and what ever there is doesn't compares to the international quality yet is as expensive. and that's cause of people who have no passion or car sense more money and kids than brains that would stick to whatever crappy cars the local manufacturers make now matter how expensive, it's not about car war it's about asking people to.pause and think. I mean take ur example u are complaining about swift quality yet u bought two of them and topped it with a wagon r. Should the right choice would had been to go for something better quality wise. Unless people start making sensible choices. we would still.be seeing new crappy wagonR on roads even after 20 yrs

I am using Wagon R from June 12th 2014 , Total 7000 KM's are done . Excellent car on long drive and within city . Getting 19 / km out of city with AC and 13 / KM within city with AC . Got tyres up-graded as 175 * 70 * 13 . Superb grip , top speed was 170 KM/ H on M2 near Sukhekhi . AC is perfect , its very spacious , Gear is smooth like any thing . Drive is owesome , I was not expecting it from Pak Suzuki . What else is required guyz . I am surprised to see comments of people for its shape , common man this shape is because of its name its WAGON RECREATION (WAGON R) . A perfect package for the people who can afford 1 million new car. I would rather say GO CULTUS GO . ha ha ha

Lol can't be compared.
Cultus has a steering a gear a engine.
Wagon r has power windows power steering good new engine. Cultus will be discontinued from next year. Wagon r is more fuel efficient. Wagon r has a good looking interior. Only draw back is it does not look good at all.
If you can get over the shape factor then wagon r is for you.
