so today i went to sarwar automobiles peshawar. they had wagon r in sand beige and one in white. the beige one was sold but the white wasnt. he told me 999000 for the car and 25k for non filer tax. i took my father with me and he liked it so hopefully will be buying it on monday. still have a little doubt as compared to jdms it has no feature like them so second thoughts are there but i make my heart happy by saying its new it will last without problems for the coming few years hopefully,what do dear members say about 0 meter car? just help me out by saying again some pro and cons of old vs new so i can go and buy this beauty on mondaY INSHALLAH. as its still will be costing me with registration near 1.45 million its hard earned money and it will be the first car i buy this expensive and my first 0 meter car. please suggestions needed

wagon r is best in its range and surely give you better value of money..
i own this hatchback two months ago and never regret my decision. no problem at all

Wa alaykum us salam respected brother. Regarding comfort, rest assured Wagon R is one of the most comfortable PKDMs being launched in Pakistan. I owned one till I sold it last month to buy 11th generation Corolla Altis, Alhumdulillaah. We have one of the most bumpy roads here in Sindh, and Wagon R's suspension was closely, if not equally, comfortable, as that of Corolla. Though, the seats of Wagon R are harder than Corolla, but being almost 6 feet, I found it easier to get in and come out of Wagon R, as compared to Corolla. The only factor to keep in mind is resale. Should you need to sale it soon in future, then be prepared to face some loss in resale, as its resale market will take some time to establish.

Afridi bhai, sadly, the only way to claim refund of advance tax given at the time of purchase of new car/paying token tax, is by using influence in FBR. If you have acquaintances working at top management in FBR, only then can you fancy getting the advance tax back, and that too, after paying hefty sums in bribe. The only other way to seek benefit of this advance tax is by reducing your final income tax liability by the amount of advance tax given at the time of purchase/payment of token. Be reminded that the benefit of adjusting advance tax against final income tax liability is only available for the financial year in which advance tax is paid, and unadjusted amount of advance tax, if any, can not be carried forward for adjustment in next financial year(s).

My dear it is best option in this range.ys u r right that jdm hv more options than pkdm bt main thing is that r nt new and zero meter.no satisfaction of mind in a used car.those r lucky ppls who find clean jdm. We hear a lot of abt accidental and repaired jdm. Normally in this range u will find 660 cc jdm and wagn r is 1000cc with a good responsive engine with good acceleration. There is no comparison of 660cc engine and k series engine of wagn r. I hv driven my waggy more than 20000 km and no ussue faced Alhamdulillah. Went to hilly areas in august and enjoyed its ride.much better than cultus.avg is very good also.
