I got the delivery of my VXR last week, driven it for 250km till now, it has minor finishing issues which I think is Pak Suzuki SOP, rest the car drives smooth, EPS is smooth, gear lever feels a little low with seating position, viewing angles are very nice. overall I would give it a 7 on 10

change it on 5k service, no issues, this is the usual thing as recommended in car manual.

Y r giving 7 out of 10 because 9f VXR i give 9 out 10.one mark less of manual

You will give it at least 8 or 9 once you experience WR in hot weather, you will love its AC cooling, and may be you will add another point for excellent fuel economy even in stop n go/bumper to bumper traffic.

Alhamdulilah i own a wagon r ang i m happy, but before buying wr, i did test drive v2.
so here is the comparison i made...

WR
pros
1. Resale becoz its SUZUKI
2. Excellent mileage(1000cc, latest Suzuki engine)
3. A good interior in sense of materials and gadgets.
4. Superb AC
5. Company workshops are available in almost all the cities(services etc)
cons
1. Small as compared to v2.
2. Very less trunk space
3. Average look as per some people, but i really like its shape
4. no head rest on rear seats

V2
pros
1. As roomy as u may take Honda city.
2. Huge trunk space, much more than other hatchbacks in Pakistan, this is the best thing i found in v2 trunk was really like bigger cars.
3. Super loaded, ABS EBD Airbags, EFI etc etc.... these are the features which are the in cars which are price at 2.0 million pkr.
4. Good AC
5. Good engine and suspension, hankook tired, alloy rims etc etc
cons
1. 1300cc, if it would have been 1000cc it would have been better ( that's my personal opinion)
2. pathetic interior, seats seemed like empty inside the cloth wrappings on seats.
3. car was noisy even at speed like 80km/h.
4. NO RESALE till now, i have seen people who have been unable to get a buyer even in a wait more than a month.

i went for wr because of resale/milage these two points were attraction for me towards wr.

choice is yours

go for wagon r as most of faw v2 owners are not satisfied with the car

Breaks aren't that good, seats are uncomfortable, they could have at least offered decent wheel caps in a car worth 1 mil

Finally went to Suzuki Central Motors for 60,000km service (All services are done for the first time ever since I bought my WagonR)

Throttle body cleanup

Break service all disc and leathers changed

Spark plugs changed

Transmission oil changed

Engine oil + Oil filter + Air filter
Coolent changed
And
Battery water acid drained and changed(my car battery is original)
Alignment and balancing

Cost for all the services plus taxes Rs.25,567/-

@pakwheelsimb, congrats on completing 60k. I think now till 100k you just have to change oil and filters. Is your car plugs changed for the first time ? And what about brake pads ?

Bro all oils are changed yes break pads and plugs are changed for first time

1. vibration on idle

you'd notice em if you're coming from a 4 cylinder car, 3 cylinder engines are bound to vibrate whether it is wagon r, Japanese 3 cyl kei car, carby cultus, mehran or any 3 cyl car, but outta all these, wagon r's engine is the most balanced and refined one(comparable to jdm cars).

1. jerk while releasing clutch

wagon r's clutch has smoothest engagement in its class, the car jerks if the clutch is released too early(it engages faster and earlier than older suzukis, more like a santro's).

K10b Firring order is bit to far it vibrates more than carby cultus Suzuki should have installed counter balance shaft like daihatsu cb series engine
