Is there any effect on warranty if you fit non genuine accessories??

that knob is for resetting the trip meter as well as setting of the illumination of the light is meter.

Hi all..my Wagon R has done 11k with dunlop 175/70/r13. So far im happy with its drive but from the last few days strange sound occasionaly comes from the back side of car ..like droping a nut on metal sheet....this sounds happens to occur occasionaly..sometime on a plain road and sometimes passing through a bump.I went to Federal Motors and guy who took a car for drive test told me there is no issue with the car..service ur car and sprinkle oil underneath a car so that parts became lubricated.i did not do not as i read somewhere that sprinkling oil under the car is not good.
Kindly give ur suggestion r recommend good 3S dealer in Islamabad.

My car's tentative delivery date is getting closer. I'd appreciate it if someone can kindly put some bullet points regarding what stuff to check for when taking delivery from the showroom. Its my first brand new car and I would like to make absolutely certain that I inspect everything properly before car leaves showroom.

I'm also interested in acquiring the complete body kit package, though the price PS is charging is absolutely ridiculous. If anyone can point me to a dealer who can provide me the complete body kit at a competitive package in Lahore, I'd be much obliged.

check all the relevant docs
check exterior of the car for any dents or scratches.
check interior for scratches.
check clarion cd player and its remote.
all the lubricant level.
spare wheels and jack. (tools kit is not included)
check ac
check pw.

I think if you reset trip meter original milage means how many kilometers you have driven a car will also reseted

Hi wagon R users.i am using wagon r for more than one and half year. I am really satisfied from it . But few days ago I drove me friends civic. And the automatic car is really a blessing in twin cities.
So I am thinking to switch to passo or vitz .and spending around 5 lakhs just for sake of automaic is justifiable ? JDM car will be used and it may give me many problems for such reason I opted for Wagon R and satisfied.
Suggestions required

If you buy a JDM Vitz or Passo with a verified auction sheet and carry out it's timely maintenance, it will not require frequent visits to mechanics.
JDMs are comfortable, fuel economical too and loaded with features, so it will be a good upgrade from Wagon R.
If you live in KHI/ISB/LHR etc spare parts won't be an issue. Though some parts are expensive such as head lamps, side mirrors etc.

total mileage cannot be reset.
only trip meter a and b can be reset.

I park my wagon R in basement and whenever I am going down the ramp there is tick tick sound from front tires while applying brakes only (2 tick ticks upon one time pressing the brake pedal), feels to me like brake caliper sound or brake disk/pad sound, this sound has build up after the 1000 km free service from Pak suzuki work shop previously there was no such sound. Any solutions to this and why is it occurring right after the scheduled service?

I have kept toyota vitz auto 2005 model previously and believe me it is a fuel guzzler specially on long journeys, it is only economically if you are driving like a 60 year old grandma moreover I had 2 or 3 minor problems, finding mechanics was a pain and after the problems were resolved I had spent a good amount of 60-70 thousands let alone on these minor issues, forget maintenance costs which are separate.

Thanks a lot bhai. Actually i havent bought any car yet. Im persuading my dad these days to buy me a wagon R. But when the other day i visited the show room to see the car on display, the suzuki guy told me that this is a smoke free car and hence there is no lighter nor ashtray in it. That is why i asked. thanks a lot

The short answer is that metallic paint has small pieces of metal flake suspended inside the fluid that is liquid paint. As the paint dries, these pieces of metal become fixed, and once completely dry they capture and reflect the light.
