Can anyone tell what is the difference b/w metallic and non-metallic colors?

Metallic paints are same as solid paints, only with a small quantity of powdered metal added. The size and type of metal added varies depending on manufacturer choices, commonly about 1 part in 50 of aluminium powder.

Solid Paint are easy to match while touch-ups
Metallic paints look better but not ordinary painter would be able do perfect touchups etc

Thanks a lot bhai. Actually i havent bought any car yet. Im persuading my dad these days to buy me a wagon R. But when the other day i visited the show room to see the car on display, the suzuki guy told me that this is a smoke free car and hence there is no lighter nor ashtray in it. That is why i asked. thanks a lot

yes no lighter but there is a socket. which you can use for charging mobile and also buy a lighter and use it.

I park my wagon R in basement and whenever I am going down the ramp there is tick tick sound from front tires while applying brakes only (2 tick ticks upon one time pressing the brake pedal), feels to me like brake caliper sound or brake disk/pad sound, this sound has build up after the 1000 km free service from Pak suzuki work shop previously there was no such sound. Any solutions to this and why is it occurring right after the scheduled service?

Why r nt inspecting it through 3s

Yesterday i changed my waggy rear wheel bearing in warranty without any cost and without labour charges from suzuki township motors lahore. 29k+ on odo.

Obviously a manufacturing fault, not your fault was the reason.

it might arises as and when any one drives car in reverse while hand brake applied, as it happens to me twice when i have Alto, mistakenly i move the car in reverse and hand brake applied. ultimate reason is poor quality bearing.

may God bless u brother took it to 3s the driver started driving it like a formula 1 car hence no sound and eventually after a long debate they made me feel its just "high tyre pressure". anyways on sat after office took the car to my suspension guy asked him just tell me what the voice is so that 3s cant fool me any more. He said both ur left shock and steering rack are making this sound now what exaclty is wrong with them for that I need to open up ur car. I thanked him and came home call the 3s guy and in a v "loud and clear" sound told him the issue and asked him when should I come to him he said come to us on friday so lets see thankyou very much u further exactly helped me knowing what is the fault now I can pursue them confidentially.

Please update about out come of your visit to 3S on last Friday, problem resolved ?????

Nops...Black is Metallic in almost all cars and have different shades wherw is white is solid but in most of tge vehicles its metallic.

Ur car is suzuki maintained till now? So thats y they changed in warranty else thy have clue that u hadnt maintained with us

Hi all..my Wagon R has done 11k with dunlop 175/70/r13. So far im happy with its drive but from the last few days strange sound occasionaly comes from the back side of car ..like droping a nut on metal sheet....this sounds happens to occur occasionaly..sometime on a plain road and sometimes passing through a bump.I went to Federal Motors and guy who took a car for drive test told me there is no issue with the car..service ur car and sprinkle oil underneath a car so that parts became lubricated.i did not do not as i read somewhere that sprinkling oil under the car is not good.
Kindly give ur suggestion r recommend good 3S dealer in Islamabad.

I used my waggy a lot of in rural areas as well as hilly. Bad roads r main cause of it in my opinion in my case. Rest knows better

Lets be thankful to them at the least and after 29K on the odo? No one gonna accept that that easily hence one must be thankful to 3S for being that kind enough. We all highlight every major minor negativiti of ever 3S so similarly we must give em their dues when they are positive enough. Even I despite having a pretty reasonable contact hardly get anything without any penny and this one.... bearing replacement. i am surprised and our brother getting this all free of cost is definitely a lucky guy​

Not really some black and white colours like pearl white and black are metallic too. If you want some touching you would need whole part to be repaint but non metallic doesn't need repaint of whole part. Metalic colour is expensive because of whole part paint job.

brother car yet to complete 1k km its 850km I guess, my particular dealership is quite far from me that is why waiting for the odo to clock 1k km so that I can have both the things done. I am v v anxious too what dealership has to offer me now.
