I have again changed my car's tyres to Nexen N Priz SH9i 165/70/R13 from Maxxis (same size). Maxxis tyres were very poor in handling and road grip. It felt as if i was driving my car on stock 145/80/R13 general tyres.

These nexen tyres are much better at road grip and handling, and i ll keep these tyres now.

Hope they go fine and last long. Got them @ 5K per tyre from Saif Traders, Faisal Town, Lahore.

He was saying it is a Korean Company but manufactured in China.

I've not yet driven car on motorway. If get time, will drive it on motorway on Saturday to see how new tyres work on highway at high speed.

So far, i'm liking these tyres. They are much better than Maxxis, at road grip, handling etc.

asak, my wagon r is just 1000km driven and when i calculated i am getting an average of 11 to 12 km per litre with full AC. what average are you getting on your wagon r.

how can i improve the average of wagon r. or will it gets better with time, i use pso petrol in my wagon r;

it will be better with passage of time. dont worry. if not after 5000 km then contact ur 3s.

You have a very valid argument about the 'cult' of changing tire sizes. But this is the 'norm' here it seems. When it comes to buying a vehicle and you look at the forums, the first step seems to be "change the tire to a bigger size otherwise you will ruin your comfort / damage engine". Its just like a rat race or is it valid? I have always this question in my mind.

Car manufacturers recommend tire size after due research. Once you change that size there are always hidden disadvantages.

Assalamualikum, brothers my waggy is giving me 11 to 12 km/l with moderate traffic and on and off AC ive done around 8k kms. i have the stocks installed aswell still im not getting better mileage what can be done to get more efficiency.
P.s i just bought the waggy recently on 7k kms driven by a person in brandnew condition. and i was told and read alot here aswell that it gives good fuel efficiency of around 16 to 17 km/l so im confused in that regards plus the 5k service is also done aswell that i confirmed too. i always try to Rev between 2.5 to 3 aswell. your suggestions would be highly apprieciated.

Might be u are running your tyres on low tyre pressure below 30. Get ur tyre pressure checked. Cz low tyre pressure effect ur handling and increase fuel consumption.

i think that ps suggest 36psi on all four wheels? why are you using 30psi?
