Same here. My Wagon R VXL reading is 5300 KM. & i am keeping track of its fuel economy. its not as i used to read from other wagon r users. In city (Lahore), its giving 8-10 KM/L & on motorway(intercity ) its slightly better 12-13 KM/L. both reading with A/C in this summer season. discussed with suzuki service manager , on his advice ,changed the petrol pump. now always using Total petrol. but still no change in fuel average....

These vehicles are almost with new engines... let the engine clock more KMs say 8K - 10K in sha Allah you will start getting more KMs per litre. Cant shed more light on it as I had purchased it with 28800 KMs on the odo n alhamdolillah from the day first, irs giving me an awesome mileage and with a light foot , without AC , using city bypass road and motorway (100 speed on Motorway) , with everything tuned it gives me 21-22 KMs per litre. Dont loose hope and clock in some more KMs, dont forget to follow the manufacturer's guidelines.

Your car average is totally controlled by ECU. Get it tuned properly. As I have heard there is an option to set it for better economy or better performance. Set it for better economy.
These auto manufacturers intentionally mess up fuel economy of cars to increase the revenue of oil companies.

Clocking more won't double the average.

Last night on highway I lost my right side view mirror of my wagon R Vxl in an accident,
Alhumdolillah ALLAH saved me and my family from any loss and strangely only side mirror got smashed, not even a single scratch on my car Alhumdolillah.
Can any one tell me the price of side view mirror?

My colleague encountered similar damage and he had to change the full side mirror (mirror and its body of one side).
Price I remember was 8,000

can one fix an electric motor in the side mirrors of wagon-R, so that we can adjust the mirror from inside with a button like we do in Honda and Toyota etc. ??

Buy aftermarket side mirror. If you are in Lahore go to Mumtaz Autos or Owais Autos on Montgomery road. They got some really good quality parts. Side mirror for Rs 8000 from Suzuki stealership is way too much (as told by other forum member)

Actually not reading carefully is the dilemma of majority hence reiterating.I never claimed whether it would double the mileage or so, I said it would increase with the passage of time and a certain limit of KMs as per routine phenomenon. secondly besides aforesaid , had also mentioned that provided all other guidelines are religiously followed coupled with utilization of common sense of at the least average level.

It uses 2nzfe, engine as per my info was last updated by toyota japan in 2005-06. Info might be a lil wrong as its based on my personal research when new shape was launched in 2008-09.

Very bad experience of Pak Suzuki. Wagon R was to be delivered on 18 Jun, not yet delivered. Dealership keep on saying InshaAllah this week. Worst thing Pak Suzuki customer services helpline doesn't work at all.
