It switch on when temp is high. Or ac is switch on.
Regarding heating at high speed indicate water pump is rusted and non suported at high speed.

hello brothers,

i purchased a wagon r yesterday from dealership. its very sluggish and the acceleration very uneven in all gears. also the car is vibrating even on 60. also dealership did not give me mats , are they included in vxr. please help I'm really stressed out because of vibration.
also I haven't tried high speeds but I've read its very bad on 100 plus. is it true. i bought this instead of alto for highways

WagonR has wheel balancing issue so fix that at dealership it will reduce vibration but at idle vibration is by default in this car. Regarding performance there is issue in 2nd gear by default but apart from that acceleration is good and much better than alto. No issues on 100+ its fine but u will feel somehow that u are losing control on car with speed increase above 110.
On highways with better tyres its fine no issues + AC is best in class

Moreover if u heard so many bad things then why did u opt for wagonR

i needed a car urgently and vxr was available without own. i mostly drive on highway at 100 so that's why I'm asking if it will be an issue. i want to change tyres but someone told me warrantly would be void

At 100 it will be fine no issues, done 60k+ on stock so no worries there
Someone told me that too so i didnt change it
Took test drive of alto vxl and would recommend over wagonR if ur major commute is within city as front seats are very comfortable and its auto not proper one but still much less hectic than manual in traffic
For highways definitely wagonR over alto.

Regarding this issue

that's a shocker, if Suzuki can't arrange their own locally manufactured vehicle part, then who can ? ... RIP suzuki local production : ( Again the throttle body comes with accelerator wire in 2015 model where as this system was changed in 2016 and onward models. I think as this is part is of an older model they are not able to arrange it i though throttle body was responsible for air flow, how can coolant is leaking from throttle body ? : / Yes I also thought the same however …

Can any one provide me with the following?

1. Quality control department of Suzuki Japan / Pakistan. I mean if there is any email address or number who I can contact for resolution of this issue as well as inform higher ups how a normal person is suffering

2. Can any point out address / number of Suzuki Wagon R specialist mechanic in Karachi?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have japanes weagon r 2015 model, ac/heater switch panel start malfunctioning. we clean and seems water goes inside the panel. what can be the issue and please tell me about resolution.

Salam All. I hope you guys are doing well.
I own WagonR 2016. Bought it brand new. Driven 90k approximately and only in Lahore. This car is used by my family mostly. Few months back i spotted some rust spots but somehow it slipped out of my mind. Yesterday i washed my car and found that the rust spots have expanded. How it happens i really dont know. It does raises the concerns related to quality. Im looking for some antirust coat...a good painter is what im looking for. Who can scrub the rust and spray antirust coat on it. Attaching the picture

It is indeed a serious issue and need to be address soon. It is highly recommended to clean the existing rust before using any undercoating for rust prevention.
If you usually wash car in evening more than usual than it might be the issue as well of rust buildup. If so then park the car in sun after every wash for water to dry fully.

I bought a brand new WagonR VXL last August, almost 12K on odometer till date. I have noticed couple of things and just want to check if its something specific to my car.

1. The lag in second gear very annoying. There is 2-3 seconds delay if you try to accelerate in second gear specially when you are just started moving from idle. It seems to get worse when the AC is running.
2. They play in gear knob, loud clicking sound in reverse gear. At times it won't put itself in reverse gear, slight push on accelerate and then it will work.
3. Windscreen side rubber on passenger side is not fixed properly. It seems as if its removing itself from screen in certain spots, I don't know if hot weather/sunshine is causing this or screen was not fitted properly.
4. I have noticed that there is oily build up on alternator. It feels that my AC gas may be leaking but last time I checked with dealership they said pressure is fine. Now I feel that AC is not working as it used to be in last summer. BTW I went to Suzuki Azim motors Islamabad. Is there a way to find the leak myself? I just want be sure of the issue before I go the dealership next time.
5. There is a creaking sound from driver door plastic if push it near the opening handling. There seem to be flexing and make creaking noise which it didn't make a few months ago.
6. I usually drive with light foot, I feel the RPM is low. It feels that as if if don't use clutch it will turn itself off at times. I have experienced Uber/Cream drivers driving this car very aggressively and the pick is not a problem in this car. I wonder if this car is suppose to be driven with heavy foot. This is the most annoying problem for me, the RPM on idle seem correct if I check the RPM meter. Engine tuning done and I am using 0w20 since first oil change.

The lag and delay in second gear is common with this car. It seems that the throttle body takes time to respond to the accelerator input.
Gear feel is also very clanky. Reverse gear gets stuck halfway every time for me also.
Regarding the windscreen rubber issue it seems like a Qaulity control issue.
Oily buildup in alternator is not normal, there is some underlying issue.
You might be right about ac gas leakage especially if the cooling is not on par now. This seems to be a defect from factory but is not common in this car.
There will be creaking sounds from the door plastic as build quality is not good.
On light foot, if rpm goes to about 1000 then yes the car struggles to accelerate but this might be improved a bit by cleaning the throttle body.

Thanks for the prompt response! I agree with your comments about build quality, in general I find wagonr build quality better than Alto/Cultus within Suzuki lineup.

I had a suspicion of throttle body cleaning but seems very odd because its almost new. I am feeling this issue since I did my first 5000KMs. Already spent a Liqui Moly injector cleaner just to make sure if it could help with the cleaning. The response felt improved when detergent was in the fuel but not totally resolved.

I've noticed that the throttle body gets dirty very quickly as the oil vapours from the cylinder head are returned to the intake just before the throttle plate. Rest the issue I guess we have to live with other than the AC issue you mentioned. A strong AC is the main selling point of the car and it seems there is some assembling fault or maybe a local mechanic messed with it?

Has anyone recently serviced WagonR's AC from the Suzuki dealership, are they good for the job or should I look for a local shop in Lahore?

The car that I have is about 5 years old and I have never got any work done on the AC because never faced any problem. Recently noticed that the AC was not throwing enough cold air during the day, even though the weather was not that hot, just a bit humid.

I talked to my painter few days back. He has a good repute. He recommended to remove the rust by the help of sand paper and some petrol and then respray the undercarriage (only specific part) or spray some antirust. According to him, suzuki paint quality is not that good.
I hardly get my car undercarriage washed as my car is only used in city and on main carpeted roads. So having tons of mud under the car is next to impossible.

Unfortunately Paksuzki has not provided the AC filter in WagonR. Above all, to wash your evaporator, you have to dismantle the complete dashboard and then bring the evaporator out.
You have to physically examine the evaporator first. If it is really dirty and shocked, you have to remove it from system and clear it well for good AC performance.

Creaking sound is indeed annoying me after few weeks. I tried to figure out but it seems something inside the pillar. When i slight hit with palm fr inside the sound is more obvious. Could be from seat belt holder nut from inside. I didn’t got much time to investigate further. Please share if you dig the issue.

You can install the cabin filter into WagonR, the rack is there you just need to make an opening. I watched a video on Youtube and then installed it myself with the help of cutter. Also, I have seen some duct cleaning solutions which one can spray into the AC ducts. For example Flamingo AC Pro which doesn't require you to remove any components. Not sure if it would solve the issue but can be tried just in case it makes it any better before you go for the full service.

I haven't gone to any local mechanic apart from the dealership so far. I don't like modifications, and prefer to keep the car in stock condition. The only change i made is to install cabin filter which I did myself. I don't think so it was caused by someone during the oil change or first two free services. Maybe something came lose from the factory.
