Hi Suneel,
I had an impression that you are people's guy and easily approachable. But the impression was washed away easily when I tried to reach you using your UAN numbers. Anyways we have many bouya's and you are not an exception.
I recently got my car inspected and I have few suggestions which I am sure will be more acceptable to the Pak Wheels community.
The app designed is not helpful and is misleading for a car owner or a buyer of an old car for following reasons.
My car inspection was report states Engine 100%, Suspension 94%, AC/Heater 100%, Brakes 100%, Interior 91%, Electrical 100%, tyres 66% and Body 23%.
My only concern is with body.................. its a 10 year old car, minor scratch, line, fadding of genuine paint, minor repair, small dent should not bring down the overall rating to 6.6%. I tried to explain same to the guy (Shahrukh on helpline) but he took as if I was questioning capability or transperancy of Pak Wheels.
I explained him number of times that the algorithum needs changes and should provide more choices to the inspector for instance the report says "Right Z Link-Boot Damage or Play", now boot damage is a rubber boot and play is faulty Z link. These should be seperately categorised not clubbed as one entity. I agree the boot may be torn, but Z link is perfect where as the potential buyer will see PLAY in Z link.
Likewise minor sctratch on a 10 year old body should not be put under microscope as if its a brand new car and every spot, scratch, blib or dent is to be registered there shold be a handicap for a used car which is a decade old. But Mr Shahrukh was adament i am wrong and my reasonoing is piece of crap and repeatedly reminded me my call being is recoreded. So what if you are recording, all I was asking was to reach someone who could understand and improve your existing evaluating mechanism.
No matter how much care i take, car is prone to be scratched by a qingqi (chingchi), bike, cart and it does not make an old car piece of scrap....... but your report does make it look like one. My car rating is damaged by body report which has mentioned every scratch, spot, fading where as with 10 year old car painted parts, major dents (that need) repair should be the only criteria so that overall rating is not affected.
I wish you had catered for "handicap" within your app, providing justified rating for body and parts with more options for inspector to see and a system where model (year of maufacturing) provides certain ceiling of handicap for a used car.
If i am given a chance, I would love to have a sitting and provide feed back to improve inspection of used cars but while maintaing transparecy of inspction for buyers.
