Pakguns closed ? Why?

hey guyz i jst visited pakguns n its closed. why is it closed ? Abbas(ownwer) said that he didnt had time for it so he's closing it.but i think there some other reason .. like some government official pressurised him to close it or whatever...but its really really sad to hear that now there is no website in pakistan that is gun related .. I am really really sorry for the closure of pakguns..

Guyz thanx for ur appreciation . jst tell me did anyone of u had a talk with abbas . if so then did u guyz asked the reason for the closure of pakguns ? I didnt had Abbas's no or else I would have called him my self and would have talked about this issue. Wish I was in karachi I would meet Abbas and talk with him . But anyone plz ask abbas n tell me the reason . I dont want pakguns to be closed for forever

^^ Nothing Pal the site admin. told you about his personal assingments and due to this he can not give time to the site.

Rather you can start a topic about "Guns" here on pakwheels.com until you find any suitable replacement

It was not about that he wasnt able to give time . He said it to cover the story . It looks like that some govt official asked him to close it due to the current situation in our country .. This is how I think . And we cant open a topic about guns here on pakwheels without the permission of the Admin .. I dont think he would allow us to open a topic here for guns .

Although I never been an active member of pakguns but liked it, it was community of very civillized & cultured gun owners people of Pakistan. I am sure the reason given by Abbas is not atual reason, I have ben reading through this forum (& posting a bit) I very clearly could see the enthusiasm & devotion abbas had to keep the forum running & running in disciplined way, so there must be some other reason, like ban on " DOUBLE SAWAREE" in our country we experience off & on I am sure pakguns is not closed its BANNED by the people looking after the law & order in Pakistan.

I really am disturbed & feeling sad on this incident, may Allah give some wisdom & vision to the people responsible of running our country.

i am sure what abbas said is a cover up for something more serious. it was an amazing amazing site though i hadn't been posting there for a while becaue i had vowed not to post and just browse until i get my own gun which was gonna happen in a week or two. i am so damn shocked to hear this. it was an amazing effort and a very educating forum. i hope it can get back on soon.
