If anybody wanna see nearly dozen or more than dozen rusted land rovers (defenders ) in islamabad. visit allama iqbal open university campus. go to their library building, their was a parking behind a block infront of library building, full of many jems.....

@nonoo1977... Ha ha ha... I have seen that yard, 10 old landys are resting there and declared irrepairable.. But Univ is maintaining a fleet of 8 Defenders... Soon they will be auctioning them... I will post the Info here...

dear all

i am just back from UK - I was there for my meetings with the University of Reading. However, the significant bit is i went for the 'Land Rover Experience'. It was a day long off roading training at the country side of a town called Honiton, some three hour train ride from London - it was fun - i will be sharing some of the pics shortly.

I am looking for a Range Rover Classic.

Secondly if I find an old one in a bad shape, is there any place in Lahore where it can be restored?

@Oklodhi.... Its quite difficult to restore a range rover in Pakistan, bcoz body parts are not available. You will get suspension and engine parts easily but things like dash board items and others are really diff to trace. Any ways you can contact Mr.Zeeshan in Lahore he has a great knowledge of LRs and he will guide you to good Machanics and other Matters. @03334456000.
