PakSuzuki Celerio-New model of Cultus-Leaked!

Hey guys!

So I was browsing through Suzuki Pakistan official facebook page and I happened to come accross a comment that showed this picture. It is a Suzuki Celerio with a Cultus badge placed instead of Celerio. This does go with Pakwheels Blog's earlier mention that Pak Suzuki plans to launch Celerio with Cultus brand name.
To me it looks like a leak from a company employee. The back ground, trees and dust points towards the car being in Karachi, Pakistan. Don't know if they surprize us at 7pm today by launching a new Cultus aswell. I can make out an "ABS" logo at the top of rear windscreen and maybe its "VXL" or "VXR" written in red at the bottom right.

Lets see what happens.

Looking forward to this thread. I don't think any other country besides Pakistan will brand Celerio as Cultus so it sure seems like a Pakistani photo. Excited to see new cars being introduced at home.

Whats your source? Internationally its available in automatic but I highly doubt it will ever make it to Pakistan.
A paksuzuki employee told me that it will priced at 12.5lacs and in manual only

Well, judging by the fact that they have replaced the emblems to 'Cultus' and that the units are seen parked outside. I believe the new Cultus seen is assembled here in Pakistan.
However, since it is a completely new vehicle there is very little chance of parts being locally produced right now. So therefore the car will made from almost 99% imported parts and a good quality is achieved. Then after around 6-12months, the local vendors will start making the parts which is when the quality may go down,

Hope all this to be true.. i wish initial celerio(cultus) to be CBU's... Lets see... So in your opinion is celerio MANUAL a decent upgrade for a wagonR owner?? Or is it worthless?

Yupp. Performance, comfort, feature and design all is much better than wagonR. But I doubt it will be able to get the same fuel economy since its heavier and has bigger wheels

Nothing yet. I was hoping it would have been launched by now so that I could see it at PAPS Auto show Karachi.

The Cultus site on PakSuzuki website isn't opening anymore though.

I think Ps is thinking to launch in mid march thn start booking and then deliver arnd May and then wud create an artificial gap between demand and supply and thn wud continue delivering other order after increasing price wid respect to d 2017 Budget

Celerio will not be CBU, it has been localized, Celerio is here since last year as per sources, pak suzuki is waiting for its launch, whythey need to rush if still 1000+ cultus are sold in a month.
