Bhai, One more thing. Oil does not do anything thing under the car it is just a myth in Pakistan, it does more harm than good, it damages the rubber parts in the suspension and other places and all the dust sticks to it. and it is bad for the environment too.

The whole city is full with pothole, bumps, ditches, i should say trenches you just cant do anything except for driving carefully.

Replaced the front right tyre with genuine general tyre - Rs.3750. It has been more than a month now without any major tyre problems save wheel balancing.

Periodic Maintenance was due, and the car was losing performance presumably due to oil deterioration. Got the following things done:
1. Inspection and Service - Rs.0
2. Right Front Door Screw - Rs.0
3. Front Disk Brake Pads Replacement - Rs.0 (Maybe the manager forgot to include them in the bill, I will call and confirm tommorow)
4. Oil Replacement - Suzuki 10W-40 - Rs.2453
5. Plug Oil Chamber Nut Rs. 211
5. Rear Mud Flaps (2) - Rs.552

I haven't driven the car yet, I will update if I see any major performance improvement.

There is major noticeable improvement in the performance of the car. The mileage has also increase by 20% at least.
I have to say, WagonR is everything I expected it to be before buying; a dependable, fuel efficient car with low maintenance.
However, the car has no comfort. The seats are rock hard and the manual transmission is terrible. I expected this before buying but I underestimated my tolerance to these issues.
I don't think the transmission distributes the power efficiently for this car. The travel for first gear is non-existent and you have to immediately shift to second. Downshifting to first is also cumbersome on speeds more than 5km/h. Picking from zero in second gear is also challenging. The gear shifting is smooth and the short throw shifter is quick though

Why 10w40? It is k10b the oil should much more higher in grade something like 5W30. Check the manual... Dear.

i found it to be quite comfortable and easy to drive. used on a long journey too stable and zippy

Haven't had the opportunity to write here because I was busy with Cuore, Also becuase Mashallah the car has not given me trouble. Yes the car is really zippy but again I would emphasize that comfort lags big time in this car. I would go as far as saying Cuore is more comfortable to drive of course due to Automatic transmission but also due to Cuore's Sofa-type seats and relaxed stance.
Other than that, given how reliable and low cost on petrol + pocket the car is giving me, I am interested in keeping this one in garage for some time. After oil change, I am suspecting it is easily giving me up to 16-17 km/l but I havent officially calculated the real mileage.
I will keep this updated too.

The car has been running good Mashallah. However, the left side headlight and taillight have stopped working. Any suggestions what might be the case? If it was the lamps then why would both blow at the same time?
Secondly, during periodic checkup of the cooling system I inspected the hoses. All hoses are in good condition, have good elasticity and rigidity, however the lower radiator hose is dropping rubber shavings on touch.. Is it a good idea to replace the lower radiator hose or is it nothing to worry about? Paksuzuki inspection did not replace it maybe they thought it is okay..

PaksuZuki inspection what a lame tactic to sell people cars. Bhai they don't bother that much.. if it is looking too soft better change it.

Most probably a fuse has blown hence the lights aren't working. Nothing much of big issues.. if not it is the bulbs that have worn out..

Alhamdullilah tbe car has served us well. Reliable and fuel efficient, the reasons why we bought the car, both of which it is living up to.
However, no matter how much we care for our car, people find a way to make our lives miserable. Today the car was standing in a proper parking place, and when my father came back outside he saw this:

The bumper is cracked from one side and fender is also bent with chipped paint. Someone crashed in it with force and ran away.
@omersiddiqui5482 bhai have any good denter/painter in your mind? Never had the experience uptil now. Paksuzuki will loot the hell outta me and this is just body work.

Bhai go-to Khalil Autos in the same line where Kamran is situated Khalil Autos is a rather bigger workshop and very fuss there. Ask for Shezhad Denter. He will help you out.

The car was parked properly in a mosque parking lot.

This has been hit by car. I don't think it is from a motorcycle. Very sorry for the loss dear.

Truly... And that too in speed. Otherwise it would have been a minor scuff.

Drove the car to Suzuki SNA Motors. Availed my second free service and inspection.

Complete vehicle tune-up was done and the car was inspected as per their checklist. The plug gap was adjusted, throttle body was serviced, and tyres were taken off to inspect the brakes. Brakes were also adjusted. Then the car was serviced inside and out.

Wheel bearing issue they assured me that they have applied for warranty coverage but need approval from head office which would delay the work till Monday.

They were also sending me away without doing any work on head lamps but I got angry at the Manager and on danda zor they changed the head lamp. Also covered in Warranty.

Then the engine oil was changed. I had a choice of 10W-40, 5W-30, and 0W-20 and I chose the best, i.e 0W-20.

Noticed the following improvements after switching to 0w-20:
1. Fuel average increased to 15.5 km/l with AC (and counting).
2. The acceleration improved.
3. Engine noise reduced
4. Engine Idling is smoother, with less vibrations.
5. The engine bay is not getting as hot to touch as with 10W-40.
6. Jerking on first gear is gone.

Best part of this is got all this work done under warranty; only had to pay for engine oil and filter.

Engine Oil: Rs. 3891
Total cost: Rs.4578

Brakes were adjusted? Do you mean serviced?

Brake shoes and brake pads were changed 4000 km ago under warranty. They tightened the brake pedal and handbrake cables this inspection. Don't know about service because I was kindly escorted out of the workshop after 5 minutes

So they were probably serviced, no such thing as brake adjustment. Handbrake cable adjustment yes, but not brake adjustment. Maybe they just bled the system, hence the pedal became hard.
Surprising that a Suzuki dealership is accepting warranty. They are known to the worst dealers in all the three local brands

That too, on a 4 year car with 50K on odo. The manager is a really nice guy at SNA Motors, which is why I take the pain of traveling 33km just to get my car done from there (and I save alot of money everytime). IG motors has the worst staff.

Paksuzuki certifified used car good experience. Got a good piece and they don't back out of their commitment.

IG motor specially the FB area one has absolutely shit staff my aunt's brand new mehran and they made the worse out of it.

Next time you go for a warranty claimed service ask them to change the brake fluid as well. By time brake fluid absorbs moisture and should be changed else brake lining issues ..

Today we got the call to bring in the car for company inspection for wheel bearing replacement. The company representatives took the car for a drive and asked if they can do anything else for the car. I said all my car's problems have already been resolved by the company for free. They gave the heads on for the wheel bearing replacement and drove the car into the abyss of workshop.

After the wheel bearing replacement, the car is as good as new. Coupled with the 0w-20 oil, and brake and clutch adjustments, the car drives better than ever. Today is my midterm exam and after that I will wash and wax the car.

I have to say, I was not expecting such professionalism from Paksuzuki but this dealership is quite good.

Fun fact: From 2016 onwards, WagonR doesn't come with cable accelerator; it was replaced with sensors. Subsequently, the ECU and engine bay for 2016 onwards models are also different.

Also, the tyre burst when coming back. These Euro Tycoon tyres cannot even last 50,000 kms from company. At first I jacked the car on my own but I saw a tyre shop nearby and got it done instead of getting messy.
