Im just curious to know the iftar venue i dont see any big place nearby n i wud suggest to contribute in advance for reservation coz i doubt no one can accomodate such a huge crowd.

Since I reside in DHA, the best option (according to my knowledge) I can come up with which offers;
- parking space to accomodate several cars
- allow us to be together for chit-chat
- ample space and light for photography
- enjoy weather
- nearby eateries for Iftari/Dinner

is Savors in Phase 8 + Kolachi (best food in the region)

Yes its far but has been chosen twice and both events were successful. Yes its not a central location but the best I could think of.
This is my input. Hill park has ample space for parking but not very good places to eat and accomodate many people.

I request others to give idea and inputs based on their knowledge of feasible areas, just like I gave above.

My vote is for kolachi the best food in town + sufficient space for parking but as already discussed its not centrally located and many members might refrain travelling to the corner of city

I don't think reaching a venue should be a problem for anyone. Everyone should gather a few hours before iftaar so junglee traffic can be avoided.

Making contribution as suggested by @babarhashmi would only bring more complexity. I think everyone should just pay for what they order. Just my opinion.

Btw- It should be done American style- You pay for what you eat. ( Desi version of BYOB hehe )

Need more input from people otherwise Savors + Kolachi venue would be locked. Since the meet is way ahead, there is ample time to fit this event in your schedule during Ramadan. Notice is in advance so plan accordingly.

General meet would be 3 hours before Iftari time at Savors. From there the procession would move towards Kolachi. Reservation would be made for confirmed members in advance within this week. Since its Iftari, it would be Buffet most probably. Will ask if arrangements can be made for Ala-Carte. American system would be followed.

Rest other members are requested to bring along other PW'ers they know who are still not aware of this event. Must have max PW gathering. As'r namaz will be offered together, inshAllah.

Lets keep it open for 2 more days. Final place would be locked on Saturday.

Looking for a place with huge car park, affordable Iftar/dinner, Savor car park is big but dont know how much they charge...

One option is Hill Park, its the center, everyone bring their own Iftar/dinner boxes.

Outside Savor road there is construction going on for the rain-drain lines. not a comfy sight and ambiance for Iftar/dinner and b-day.

I have tried Savors food on another ocassion. It was not good. Service was pathetic too

Hillpark is equally good for car parking. Yes lunch boxes is another good option. Doable and affordable.

Any Iftari buffet at a good place will be around 900-1200.

As Kamran bhai says there is construction in front of Savors, Hill Park + GYOF (Get Your Own Food) is a feasible option then. People can bring lunchboxes and then whoever is interested can proceed to dinner at Al-Ghaffar Kabab House later on (just saying)

Yes I totally forgot that. That is a possibility too. Double lane empty road which no one uses. Good idea!
