Hillpark is equally good for car parking. Yes lunch boxes is another good option. Doable and affordable.

Any Iftari buffet at a good place will be around 900-1200.

As Kamran bhai says there is construction in front of Savors, Hill Park + GYOF (Get Your Own Food) is a feasible option then. People can bring lunchboxes and then whoever is interested can proceed to dinner at Al-Ghaffar Kabab House later on (just saying)

For Savor my family complained few months back.

Have heard there is a Noorani in from Sajjad or Kolachi -- economical and good in taste - a week before ramadan my brother went there with his colleagues for 9 people costed pkr 4800. seems economical.

How about afridi inn instead of kolachi...the food is great and economical..plus it has no space issues

I dont think many can afford 900-1200, should be around 6 to 800, lunch boxes and Ghaffar is a better option

Outside Savor road there is construction going on for the rain-drain lines. not a comfy sight and ambiance for Iftar/dinner and b-day.

Afridi Inn has very bad parking not to mention the traffic. I live near by and the rush there is INSANE! The Dolmen Mall is right opposite of it and both the roads are full of traffic and parked cars, taxi's, rickshaws etc and since it'll be the last two weeks of Ramadan there will be a lot of crazy shoppers over there.

I'd recommend Village or anywhere where there is decent parking. Parking should be kept as the first priority.

So I guess the current i.e. tentative idea that seems the best for now is: (NOT CONFIRM)

Afridi-Inn (Do Darya i.e. Phase 8) - Gathering + Iftar/Dinner

Ample parking space in the locality with several empty lanes, plus huge area to meet greet and easy on the pocket food items.
HB would get a discount as well so I feel its a Win-Win situation.
Area opposite to Charcoal or next to HotBite can serve as a gathering place.

Note: Can't cater to individual choices since a decision has to be reached keeping in mind all members. Yes it is NOT a central location but somehow it is affordable, weather would be pleasant in this region and has a good location for everyone to be together.

Its good to know things are getting streamlined, so we are meeting @ DO DARYA the sunday track place, restaurant to be decided today inshallah. The best part is we will have huge parking space, the roads connecting to restaurants are mostly empty and parking can be managed category wise.
I had an iftar @ KOLACHI yesterday and surprisingly their service is not down in ramzan, same great taste just to update you it costed Rs.1490/head excluding drinks or tea.
