Pakwheels AutoShow or Ricer's Prom

All of these recent Auto shows that PakWheels is organizing I feel like these are nothing more than Show off of some rich people. or Ricers showing off their cars.

Lowering cars on cut spring, getting some shiny rims tires, scrapping the car from the beneath, swapping a honda k,h series, Suzuki g, m series, or Toyota's ZZ, series in every other car, installing a kabli exhaust, and voila! you have an Autoshow worthy car that people will take pics off,

No exotic cars, no restorations no unbelievable swaps, or Purana garian to bohot hi kam hoti hain.

Everyone redlining their engine and firing "Patakhas" and going home with blown head gasket, Once saw someone's video while he was redlining the engine one guy was pouring water in their radiator with a "lota" as his head gasket was blown and that guy apparently kept the engine at redline for almost 2 hours,

But that's just my opinion, let's see what you people think.

@Hassan1991 Bhai nope, had this feeling when I went on one years ago, but held on my feelings,

Problem is with the selection team. They will reject a rare bone stock ae82GT corolla and allow a slammed stock engine wagon R. What you can aspect from them?

What do we expect?

• Cars here are crazy expensive
• Proper aftermarket goods impossible to find locally
• Good replacement parts have to be imported
• Importing anything is expensive, takes months, and is still a hassle

Expecting anything that you see in American or European shows is unreasonable.

@hyder_m29 they can atleast bring some gems , some restored beauties, some cars which are still in "jenwan" condition .

I believe these car shows have lately become " Itwar Bazar" of cars.

Excess shows
No standard being defined

It would be better if they have 1- 2 ahows in a year with good standard .

how many of u can gurantee a car owner that his car would drive bk home without a scratch in such an event
crowd is young, huge in numbers and full of adrenaline

the way things are nowadays, 20-30 crore ki gari b chalti hai road par ab. can you convince an owner to risk bringing one

my two cents:

auto show must be in an excessively open area,
with cars park along a road and foot traffic on blocked -off) road.
only-one way foot traffic allowed,
owners must be present at the car,
may be print/ write basics of the car on a poster nearby so the owners doesnt get annoyed.
Pakwheels MUST control sound DB in the area. Make sure there are NO music speakers, people are able to hold a normal conversation.
Shodas with phat phati sounding cars in a totally separate area where they are allowed to make noise pollution.

If these conditions are not met, it will be the same , too much noise, no possibility of talking to each other or owners, no business transactions, smell of burnt rubber all around, mixed music beats from all around, phat phatt of rattle-can modified 1995 honda civics, people bumping into each other, messing with owners's rides trying to take selfies.

So true, meetups should be where, people could share ideas, and appreciate each other's builds, but selfies and slow-mos are the things that youth love.90% people present there are just for fun, Warna Car enthusiasts don't go there, or are only present in small quantities.

Your damnn right few days before there was another car show no (PAKWHEELS) show i tried to register my ae101 gt and they rejected saying that bone stock cars not allowed but mehrans with “kabli” silencers were allowed and this shows the poor management of Pakistani shows….
