I have cultus 2007 non-efi, 45500km driven. This car was used by my uncle so don't know which oil was used by him as he sent the car to IG motors for service at sohrab goth. Please guide me which oil is better for me as i am going to send my car for service to danish motors, margalla motors or khalid motors and one thing more i am getting very confused that it is ok to send the car to these dealers rather than IG because the car always went to IG for service since it was bought.
Secondly i am using honda cd70 1991 bike. I overhauled its engine on april and change its oil after two months. Last time, i refilled total oil as it was recommended by my dad so should i stick it with or change to zic 4t

Also, you stated earlier that Zic A+ 5w20 is okay for Pakistani climatic conditions, if this is so I have a chart in my cars owners manual (similar to this one I have attached) which recommends Xw40/Xw50 for hot climate.

i red the list of authorized dealer in this forum you have given for Islamabad. the suitable dealer for me is Al-latif Autos I-9. i will get oil from there, now i need some help from you.
the car is santro 2003 EFI.
1: how to check that the oil is genuine?
2: my oil history is: 1st i used Shell helix HX5 mineral oils for 2500 Kms twice 2500+2500 Kms.
3: then i change the engine valve seals only because the engine was smoking in the morning first start. the piston+piston rings were good but still i changed the rings only to be on safe side. so three things were changed valve seals+piston rings+head gasket.
4: after semi-overhaul i used shell helix hx5 mineral oil for 1000 Kms for initial rings break-in.
4: then i switch to Shell Helix HX7 semi-synthetic without engine flush. this oil is used for 2600 Kms so far.
5: Now i want to switch to ZIC, the mechanical condition of my ride is good as not smoking any more.
6: what SAE grade and API ratings you recommend for my ride and should i go for engine flush before switching to ZIC and if yes then how to flush?

In the above situation you have recommend me ZIC A. but as you know i have won the 2nd prize of ZIC weakly quiz which was ZIC XQ, so should i use that ZIC XQ for my santro?? are i should strictly use only ZIC A??

Mentioned chart is only for oils formulated from API GROUP I, AND GROUP II oils and when it come for synthetice Engine oils and oils formulated from API GROUP III or above like PAO based oil they are wider range of Temperature zones , secondly mentioned chart is almost 20 years old appx. and from last 10 years there has been lot of reserch under gone and the shap of lubricating oil has changed significantly . In the end i have given the anwser so many time about the viscosity grading and its recommendation in engines which you can study .
Finally if you consider this chart then you can see only oil of viscosity grade of 20W50 is such a oil which can full fill the requirement of our region but on the contrary all the OEMs including Suzuki Motor company is now started recommend oils bellow this viscosity grade like 10W40 and even in Honda they recommed oils 10W30 so Kindly note that all newer engines require ligher viscosity grade and as they run on they go to ward heavy oils

dear as you are regularly using ZIC A, in this case if you want to permanantly switch over to ZIC XQ then you can switch over to it with out any problem but if you want to only use it as once then i shall suggest you to change your ZIC XQ with 2 packs of ZIC A, and carry on with it

dear i recommend you to use ZIC A, API SM , SAE 20W5O oil in your car and ODI recommend 5k , secondly go to any 3S Suzuki dealership as their mechanics are well trained and they really do know better then to other non-dealer workshop.
for your bike i recommed you to use ZIC 4T, API SJ, SAE 10W40 as it is the best Motor cycle engine oil with JASO MA grading .

Which Engine Oil to use for my new Alto VXR CNG? and which Transmission/Transfer Oil to use? Where can i get ZIC Orignal Products? My access Area's are (DHA, CLIFTON, I.ICHUNDRIGARH, SADDAR). and after how long to replace them again?

& what do you call Transmission/Transfer Oil in Urdu?

Please confirm what do I need to change after the first 1,500Km of the car;

Engine Oil (Which one to use? life?)
Transmission/Transfer Oil (Which one to use? whts called in urdu and its life, need replacment after?)
Brake Oil (Which one to use? Thats after 40,000Km right? does the new car needs replacement of it?)
Engine Coolant? (Which one to use? life?)

2005 vti prosmatec - CNG (65k driven)
2007 vitz AT - Petrol (20k driven)

Price is not an issue.

Ok,

After waiting for like 5-6days for your reply I went through and got Shell Hilux HX-7 engine oil in my car. Kindly do let me know if ZIC is better than HX-7 and how?

For Gear oil I went with "Zic Gear FF 75W85 API GL-4", Is this the RIGHT gear oil for ALTO VXR?? the orignal gear oil that came out of alto was of GREEN in colour and zic gear oil was of GOLD colour (not sure 100%about ZIC colour though). Please tell me if the zic gear oil that I got was ORIGNAL, I am attaching some pics of it, do let me know if its orignal I got it from "Faizan Auto Spare Parts, Khaliq-uz-Zaman Colony, Gizri Road". The cap of the bottle was sealed and after that the bottle opening was also sealed (as can be seen in pic)

Brake oil I will change as and when needed.

Please inform me of Engine coolant though and after how much time to completly change it (considering topups as and when needed)

first of all sorry for my late response for your quarry because i was not availible in head office secondly as you asked ZIC products comparison with castrol Magnatec 10W40.

so, The first differance Between Castrol Magnetec. and its equiv. ZIC BRAND ZIC A, is of it low grading
ZIC A, SAE 10W40, IS API SM
AND Castrol Magnetec, SAE 10W40, IS API SL
Secondly the Viscosity Index is superior in ZIC A, SAE 10W40 with compare to Magnetec. like wise Flash Point , Pour Point and other spec. are also better in ZIC A, 10W4O.
