consiquently it do require viscose oil so 20W50 is more viscose oil then 10W40 and as your vehicle is driven more then 90k therefore i recommend HIFLO

i ve a 2006 honda city idsi manual.163,000kms drive.from its delivery in 2006 to this day, i ve used havolin formula engine oil for it.its graded 15w40 API SM... the problem is that in the morning,i feel that the oil is not reaching every part of the engine properly because its very cold and dense.i can literally hear the engine sound a bit changed, but everything gets to normal after a 5-7min drive.i think this oil is too dense for using in winter. should i switch to some other oil? which one? grade? my car is mostly used locally but makes a trip on m2 almost 1-3 times a month.

Dear Sir, ever engine oil has a basic property of pumpability which deals with the ability of how fast it can be pump / inject in the engine parts perticularly when the the engine is cold
In this regard i assure you that the pumpability of any ZIC ENGIN OILS are better than to its compititors oil brand because of Yubase tech. so i would recommend that you should use ZIC A , API SM, SAE 10W40 , and then give me the feed back
More over in winter specially at morning time durring engine starting it is usuall that engine sounds are more laoud but after some run it deminsh to normal engine sound but good engine oil always reduce the time from of this phase of increased sound

I am also confused about the louder engine noise in the morning these days, i start the car and wait for 2 minutes to warm the engine then run the car, but the engine noise is noticeable the engine making noise till i drive at least 5 KMs or the temperature needle reaches to the half, is there any need to worry about or it is just normal?
and how much time, we should give to an engine to idle in the mornings of winters before start running? i am using ZIC A 10W-40 and i am satisfied with it, on EID i have been there in Swat for 10 Days and ran the car for 1200 KMs there and on the motorway to and from Islamabad. Really satisfied.

Dear sir,
Basically all engine need warmup phase durring first startup in mornings particularly of winter mornings as the engine parts like parts situated in the engine head assy. create some noise prior to warm up due to the valve clearance as it is in its maximum gap durring cold startup so they normally make some noticable noise and it also gradually deminish too. othe the other hand oil circulation also plays very important roll in noise reduction as well in decreasing cold stard friction.
As ZIC MOTOR OIL has been produced from API GROUP III ' s Yubase base stock so it has the extra quality to move fast in the engine and maintain a solid film between the engine matal parts even after 12 hours of engine shoud down which insures maximum lubrication and protect form cold start friction and noise as compare to other engine oils
In the end as you mentioned , i only suggest to have an engine tune up form some professional mechanic who can check its valve clearance according to its recommended gap

dear sir, i recommend you to use ZIC HIFLO, API SM, SAE 20W50, with 4~5 according to the condition of the engine. more over if you are going to use ZIC MOTOR OIL in your Khyber first time then change first time after 3k , second after 4k and so on..
the retail price of ZIC HIFLO 4L is 1450/-
