doc That sounds familiar, I have been driving my family nuts.

For the second picture(the leaf), the camera has under exposed the picture due to the brighter background(sky), to brighten the leaf up, go into exposure compensation and increase the exposure by +1 or +2 and then take a picture. Picture will look WAY better.
