Just have a question regarding panning shots, whenever I try taking a panning shot in day light or even a overcast wheather, the picture is so bright that you can hardly see the car and the content. I tried the lowest ISO and even reducing the shutter speed but still no luck.
Does anyone know where am I going wrong?
Your help would be much appreciated!

Increase the aperture value or set camera at shutter priority mode aperture will be set accordingly.
Were you capturing panning in manual ?

I tried manual and Shutter Priority too.
Shutter priority gave much better results with a speed of 1/30.

I have a Sony Alpha290
This is the one on shutter priority with reduced exposure and was take at evening.
(Pic taken by @tayyab95 as I was behind the wheel)

I don't have the manual mode one, it's probably deleted or have it somewhere else.

Jazzy - Yeah, infact no. I somehow missed the last page. The panning shots are perfect! Zaeem would've been proud of you )))

The noise - well look at the fender arch/extension. The yellows and greens. You get what i mean? Right?

dont know much , Zaeem can tell you better he is good at panning shots

but try these settings :

1. Aperture priority mode (A)
2. select the middle focus point
3. select Continuous AF
4. Pan along with the subject

i tried a panning shot with manual settings , i.e manual mode and manual focus and from with in the buss on motorway .

Does s95 zoom while recording video? On youtube in some videos zoom is there but in some it cant and in every review it says it cant
