As for the cameras;I guess they are both very similarly configured and very similar in terms of photo quality.The guy,however,didn't give a final verdict and so I am more confused ! Anyways,I'll have to use a 550D to form an opinion (I've checked out the D3100 already) it seems !
Thank you for your help . As far video is concerned,I think,you should buy a proper , professional video camera if you are serious. Otherwise my primary concern in a DSLR is photos only .
You can use decades old lenses with the five-fifty D and still auto-focus because of the built-in auto-focusing motor .Thats a good thing !
Again,I think of a camera as your tool for the job. Without good technical skills and creativity, no matter what camera system you use, you will never be able to capture anything good. Read, learn, learn and learn, then experiment and shoot a lot – that’s the only way to become a better photographer.
