LoL i'm telling my experience
Meri bike ka ab koi bhi mud flap 7 din se ziada der nahi rahta. Koi na koi traffic signal pe peechey se chawal maar deta ha and SORRY afterwards

This was a cold weather ride, the temperature was 34F (1C). The windchill on a bike in those temp can be quite bad. I did about 130 miles that day.

out of these two whioch one is yours ? you can use grip warmers and heated seats they help alot (never used them but read on internation forums that they are really good)

I was on the FJR1300 on the left. It does have heated grips and they help a lot, you are correct. It does not have heated seats though. That is a Kawasaki KLR650 on the right. This guy recently completed the Continental Divide Ride:
