I had to park like this because of another idiot who had parked across the line. I had to park on the edge to save my car from door dents.

You should have parked in such a way that the idiot could not be able to take his car out, a little lesson for him to learn.

I did something the same few days ago, parked my car just behind the idiot, covering half of her car, but remaining in two lines. The idiot parked for a few hours, and I was there for the entire day He was looking desperately to find me

Exactly these grey blocks are the seperaters for car parking he did not park properly at all
Infact he took 2 park spaces for his car
