Passo 16 ECO-IDLE, Crank, fuel average, battery? Issues

Passo 2016, total 106k km driven now.

Have been having issues since the last 2 months.
Eco Idle does not work now.
Fuel average has also dropped to 12-14km/l from 22-26 initially.

Since the last 2 weeks, the car has been taking a longer time to start up, but this issue only pops up sometimes. Sometimes the car starts up just fine.

I've taken it to Toyota Defense, KHI, where they said it was a battery problem and it needed replacement. But replacing the battery didn't solve any of these issues.

I then took it to a local mechanic where he cleaned up the spark plugs and throttle body. The result was that acceleration improved slightly, but Eco Idle, crank, fuel average issues persist. He thinks it is a failing fuel pump.

Kindly help, I'm lost.
If it helps, 5w30 engine oil, replaced every 5000km, other oils are fine. Tyres are standard.

ECO IDLE vehicles have a small capacitor-aka-battery bank under front driver or rear passenger seat. All symptoms wave towards that bank. Before someone start to make money visit a competent workshop with scanner, they can pull the codes. Most likely problem will be solved if the bank is fixed. BTW the life of such capacitor-battery bank is 5 years(from date of factory roll out) after which oem recommend replacement. Good luck

Went to mechanic today.
Cleaned catalytic converter, 19-20 ka farq aya hai.
Suspecting fuel filter as culprit.

Engine showing p0171 error (startability issue) and p1604 (mixture too lean)

Is it possible that a weak battery may be causing weak fuel pumping ?

There is no such battery under any of the seats. Seems like there's only the main one in the engine bay.

yes better start with fuel pump/filter first

yes that is a possibility in cold start when injector rail pressure is not enough. Try 3 click of keys before cranking the engine. Wise is to get the battery tested as well. That will be economical to replace with new one.
