Passo 2007 - Seeking Advice on Oil Change & AC Performance Issues

Assalam o Alaykum Brothers,

I’m seeking advice regarding my car's performance and an upcoming oil change. I’ve been using my car since 2013, which has now clocked over 250,000 km. Lately, I’ve noticed a significant drop in fuel efficiency — I’m getting around 9 km/l with the AC on, and about 11–12 km/l when the AC is off. The car also feels noticeably sluggish when the AC is running.

Additionally, there’s another issue that’s becoming a concern: when the car is idling in traffic, the AC stops cooling completely.

Given the age and mileage of the car, I suspect the oil and perhaps other components may need attention. I’d appreciate any recommendations regarding:

The most suitable engine oil for high-mileage vehicles

Possible reasons for the AC issue in traffic

Any other maintenance tips that might help improve performance and fuel economy

is it burning oil
when did you last change spark plugs etc

AC issue.can be blocked dirty radiator/condensor/weak compressor etc

it's been sometime

radiator is rusty but recentlygot it washed but not cleaned completely. cooling is pretty ok so I'm not sure abt compressor or condenser

Check for engine oil consumption rate it's better to perform the smoke test to confirm it as the engine is already running on 20w50 engine oil.

I would recommend you personally if the smoke is present replac ethe engine and use only 5w30 engine oil
