Passo 2009 - Engine code P1510 - Starter Signal Error

Fellow Pakwheelers,

My Passo 2009 engine light is on and scanner gives an error code of P1510 - Starter Signal Error. Have had it checked by multiple mechanics / electricians, who have recommended changing throttle body, starter signals, relays, tuning, throttle cleaning, self service, replacing the EGR and refreshing the wires in the car cabin side panels. Have tried all of these with no luck.
Even tried temporarily connecting new engine wiring which did not help.
A couple of mechanics have told me to replace the entire wiring inside the car cabin which seems to be an extreme step.
Car vibrates on D with brakes applied. Have had the engine and gear foundations replaced with no effect. This may or may not be related to the engine code.
Just wondering if anyone else has faced the issue and can provide a recommendation, or a good mechanic in Karachi that can deal with this issue.

This is common problem with 1krfe engine and very easy to fix you must have being visiting idiots

@asadzubi any work done over starter motor [ self starter ] or the generator. any addition of some a$$ck**g relay to any loop cable in engine bay.

1. Check for battery boil, if it is liquid battery check for any deposits on terminals or if battery top is wet by acid boil. if it is dry maintenance free battery check for any bulges on battery casing.

2. either the starter motor solenoid is short and leak is causing short circuit popping the ECL

seems there is a low current continuous leakage [short circuit] in your car.

I strongly suspect starter motor., if the battery is normal and there is no boil or deposit on battery.

P1501 has nothing to do with TPS, MAF Throttle Body etc etc. Visit a workshop request them to source a starter motor from yard .. subject to return if purpose does not serve.

Yes there is a relay on a wire inside the engine bay. There is no visible boil on the battery.
