Passo 2009, Grade 3.5, 9.5 Lacs OK?

Hi,

I saw a Toyota Passo 2009 today. Its auction sheet says its 3.5 grade. I want to know how is this grade? and what is this rating based on? Should I go for 4.0 or 4.5 grade car if i am to buy for myself and family or 3.5 is also workable and if so, what is the difference? The car needs some slight denting work, but is little used. Please advise is it a good deal and if i can rely on a 3.5 grade car? Thanks.

3.5 grade is just an ok car but for family use i would recommend to get atleast 4.0 grade so that you dont have to goto workshops frequently

No dealer is importing cars above 3.5 grade. U can get auction sheet of whatever grade u want. Just get the car checked from mechanic and go for it. My neighbours import cars, i have just bought a passo from them in 875k, it has some dent on trunk and i have left those as they are and just got the bumper repainted.

While i was bit confused about these gradings, i asked my neighbour about grade and mileage of car, he asked what grade and mileage you want

But 950 is bit high price for this, if it has a visible dent. Just try to get it 900k.

If its a 2009 model then price is fair. You can try to negotiate. Get the car checked from every area in detail. Look for rust in engine, trunk door clamps.
