Passo or Vitz
Hello,
Looking for some advice.
Have to buy a car with ample room for family of 4, automatic transmission, acceptable availability of spare parts, and a comfortable drive.
Budget is about 15 to 17 lacs. Could stretch it a little bit for the perfect car.
Mainly focused on hatchbacks.
Not particularly fond of 660cc cars.
I think that the value for money situation with an auto Swift, Cultus or Wagon R isn't great, so I'm leaning towards imported cars.
Ideally I would go for an Aqua but its just a bit too expensive, same with Honda Fit.
In the 1000cc category, 2nd gen Passo and 3rd gen Vitz seem to be best options.
So how should I choose between the two?
And also what to watch out for when buying either?
I've noticed that the Vitz is around 100,000 more expensive than an equivalent Passo from the same model year. Is Vitz worth the extra money?
Also I've heard that the maintenance cost of the transmission in Vitz is extremely expensive, especially if it hasn't been taken care of....Is that true?
