Passo vs Vitz vs Mira

I want to buy my first ever car, range is maximum 12 Lac.

Things to consider;

• No one has ever kept car in my family
• Is to be used in family
• Fuel average
• Low maintenance cost
• Security
• Comfortable ride on long route like from Karachi to Islamabad

Current considerations are;

• Toyota Passo (2010 or 2011)
• Vitz (2006 or 2007)
• Mira (2012 or 2013)

Expert advice is highly appreciated. I heard about the fuel average of Passo, some says it gives 14 Km/L but at the same some claim it gives 8 to 10. Not sure about Vitz, but Mira has very good average but it is 660 CC.

Looking forward to the advice of owners and experts.

Out of three options you inquired Passo is the best answer
As spares of Mira are costly and for sure 660 will not be a comfortable car for long journeys
Vitz almost 10 years old minimum 1kr engine will not be economical plus trouble free for long journeys
Better go for Passo

First car in the family ? don't go for Japanese bro. buy a Honda City you will get all your points checked !!

I would also suggest Passo.

But if its your first car, and you would also like to take it on long routes; then try considering a Sedan, and locally assembled.

In 12 lac PKR budget, you might be able to get a good condition, 4th gen. i-DSI Honda City. It ticks almost all of your checks.

1st hand experience with a Swift can be dangerous
That to an MT swift it's not for someone who has just started driving

Plus it's not a good family car telling you with my own experience

If you POSTER want a family car better buy a Sedan.
If you are buying it for your personal usage then go for passo.

Depending and keeping in to account many different aspects, the fuel efficiency can be from 8-13 kmpl.

Yes. Others are absolutely right when going for the very 1st car. Prefer a locally assembled one.
