Passo - Zig Zag wire radiator

Hi All,

I have recently been advised to change the radiator of my toyota passo. The reason given is that Japanese cars have radiators with straight wires that are not good with Karachi's harsh hot weather. I should replace it with a zig zag wire radiator that is more suited to hot weather. Can someone confirm if this is valid advice?

If the radiator is leaking then only get it changed otherwise flush it if you are using tap water and use original toyota coolant and it will serve you for a long time...

my bottle consumes the coolant too much. I had my radiator replaced with zic zac, got Toyota coolant filled up. it consumes about 3 glasses on 250km ... So, I have started using tap water again. Why does it consume the water/coolant so much? Gasket leakage? I live in Karachi too.

Buddy I think so that it's all nonsense. Japanese engineers are not like Pakistani engineers if they have used straight pipe there maybe a good reason. I am driving Passo in Lahore from 4 years where weather is quiet higher than Karachi my car's working fine. Don't get it changed.
