The following decisions were made on the 11th April GTG,

1. We shall proceed Inshaullah on 27th May or 11th June, Thursday night on the night coach and start riding from Pindi early morning. Please vote. My vote is for May 27th. Malik sahib is requested to please accommodate the marriage dates, somehow.

2. Imran Bhatti sahib agreed to be in charge of the maintenance department and all of us will assist him.

3. Dr. Omar Khan will take care of the medical emergency department.

4. We will have limited camping experience only at already installed tent hotels to get the feel of it.

5. The trip should last around 10 days. It can be stretched or shortened according to the wishes of the members.

6. Per person cost should be between 5-10 thousand + fuel. It will depend on the standard of boarding and lodging that we choose. We can stay at PTDC motels with 4 to a room costing Rs. 400 per person. Much cheaper places are also available.

7. All members must keep windbreaker jackets and warm clothes in addition to sleeping bags for cold weather expected at the Babusar and Khunjerab passes.

Please give your input about the starting date and cost so that we finalize everything within one week.

the almost amount to keep with you for trip is Rs.8,000/- plus

as it is expected to be a trip of 8 to 10 days

so, for Room Rent we are expecting Rs.5,000/- per head, and for food etc an additional Rs.3,000/- it excludes Fuel etc charges

BUT I REQUEST YOU ALL TO KINDLY SUPPORT US SO THAT WE COULD ARRANGE SOME SUPPORT FROM SOME SPONSORS

Day 1

1. Reach RI at 5.30am. Tea.
2. Reach Abbotabad 9.00am. Breakfast.
3. Reach Balakot. 11.00am.
4. Reach Naran 2pm. Lunch
5. Spend night at Lake Saifulmalook.

Day 2

1. Start early after a cup of tea.
2. Breakfast at Batakundi.
3. Small stopover at Burevai, Jalkhad and Besal.
4. Reach Lulusar lake.
5. Try to fish.
6. Night at Lulusar and campfire with a roasted lamb, if tents are available.

Day 3

1. Lulsar to Gittidas
2. Reach Babusar pass.
3. Reach Chilas.
4. Reach Raikot bridge
5. Night at Fairy meadows (if possible)

Day 4

1. Reach Danyur/ Gilgit
2. Reach Aliabad, Hunza
3. Reach Passu
4. Night at Sost

PS

• It is a tentative suggested plan and everything with be finalized at the spot.
• Return journey will be finalized at Sost.
• We will try to return via Deosai plain and Neelum valley if time and energy permits.
• We can make the return journey in 3 days but would prefer 5.
• Must make all possible arrangements to protect ourselves from the scorching high altitude sun. Sun block cream, full sleeves Tshirts, sunglasses and caps would be needed.
• Lots of fluids and mosquito repellants would be useful.
