Salam
I was planning to buy Merc e class to do a 2jz swap
But my friends told me to discard the project as this is too time consuming and too expensive.
Then I am planning to buy a 1999 Civic and do a k-series, h22 swap or any other b-series.
How much budget would the both projects require and which one is the right choice ?

Eg or ek with k,h,f series engine is too common.
If I got choice between these two projects then Mercedes any day. 2jz in Mercedes is not a uncommon swap but still.
Both project will be time consuming. If you're totally going to depend upon mechanics and electricians then you're really wasting time and money.
First do homework of what you gonna do and how you gonna do. Then start the project.

Bro I have set up my mind for ek Civic with any of these k20,k24,b20 or if go with Merc then definitely a 2jz swap with turbo. I am just concerned about the budget i need for these projects and I do know that it always exceed your limit so I have to keep that also in mind
And yeah do give me your reviews about Mitsubishi glant

B series is quite expensive but if succeeded it will be a damn cool project.
You should buy a civic old models and go for either b16 or b18.

Any Honda engine with a Type R tag I expensive. There's not much difference. Old Mercedes is not expensive. And you can find a clean one. Ek civic is also not cheap.
If you are going for a EK then arrange B16B or B18c. It will be an awesome swap.

H Series motors are not common now, you hardly find one now a days, so is the B series, apart from its rarity its expensive too, so is the case with K Series. But still if you want to spend money on a Fwd project, I would suggest to go for a K swap. Easily available, parts available and tons of aftermarket support.
But again, if you can spend a fortune, a Merz with a 2JZ anyday over a Fwd project car.
