Performance CDI unit and coil?

AoA everyone. Just a quick question. Will there be any performance boost/decline if i install the performance CDI unit on cg125. The stock CDI is making issues again and again so the mechanic advised to change it.

It’s not like the company fitted CDI, the spare parts people call it Performance CDI. As per them it remove the limitation from engine. I’m not a technical person so don’t know what does it means.

but if it work's like you said then yes it can increase the performance.

I have bought a cdi from aliexpress in which you can advance or retard the ignition timing, seller claimed that by advancing the timing you gain improved performance but i didn't feel much difference.

Don't think so. Only timing can't make any difference you have to arrange the mixture according to that. You should play with it.
