Many people wonder how much a perfume lasts in term of number of sprays. So guys here is your answer to this question. Here is how much you gonna squeeze out of a 100ml bottle.
How much perfume is sprayed solely depends on the quality of sprayer. A good sprayer will spurt a good amount of juice while a bad sprayer will spray much less. Lets take a real time example
Perfume: Acqua di Gio by Armani.
Quantity: 100ml
Price: 8,000 Rupees
Sprayer: Lush
On average you get 1300 to 1500 sprays out of a 100ml bottle. So if you spray on the following areas of the body
Two on each side of neck
One on chest
One on each wrist
Then you spray 5 times. Assuming Acqua de Gio is your signature scent and you use it daily then you are going to get a life of 260 to 300 days of life out of your 100ml perfume. Based on strength (EDP vs EDT) some perfumes require 2 sprays while some require up to 8 sprays. I usually spray 5 sprays on pulse points.
As you can see a 100ml can easily last upto one year; Cool, no?
Now lets look at the daily cost of using a designer scent. In our case (Acqua di Gio), a spray will cost you from 5 to 6 rupees. Multiply it by 5 and you spend maximum of 30 Rs for a high end designer scent. For a 4000 Rs worth of perfume the cost will be even less; about 15 per day. Sounds quite reasonable!
