You're right about spicebomb but then again these are designer fragrances and are not meant to be unique in any way. People have similar concerns for TM fragrances but in the end it still works.

Versace oud noir is just another oud fragrance, nothing fancy. Only reason I bought it, because I had a coupon for it, lol so got it dirt cheap. I've only used it twice, first time I couldn't smell it after a few hours so went crazy with the sprays the second time and it gave me a headache.

One thing that I have learnt is, never buy any fragrance by just reading the reviews. For example there are some amazing reviews for LATTAFA PERFUMES, so one day I went into a store to test them and trust me they are pure headache. Same thing happened when I blind bought MB Individuel, it isn't bad but still didn't work for me.

Armani Si is a good one but I still have my eyes on TM Alien. I really couldn't see anything special with Black Opium. But you know, women...

Share your experience with Man in Black and Amouage after testing.

Will give MIB a go tomorrow insha ALLAH, have tried Amouage Men Interlude, the blue bottle, as far as i can recall it was good, but was north of 20k for a 100ml bottle, so didn't feel like buying it.

Will again test it tomorrow if Enem has it, they have a few in their store from Amouage, i tried the green and the blue interlude, liked the blue better.

Will hit the store tomorrow and post new reviews here soon. Enem even has Clive Christian in stock

hy everyone,,,i remember a few years ago my mamu had some quality perfumes but he never told their names,, whenever he visited us, anyone of us could guess that he came today because his fragnance used to remain there even when he left our house hours ago,, similarly if he would hug me, i could also smell his perfume from my clothes,,,and it was not that strong like party perfumes, but a pleasant one,, i want these kind of perfumes,, currently i have KOUROS by YSL and another whose name is not mentioned but its also by YSL,, they are good but no one ever complemented about them,,suggest me some last lasting perfumes not forgetting about our environment

So guys went to try out Bvlgari Men in Black.

My verdit is a Nay!
It's a softer version of Encre Noir Lalique and it didn't appeal to me even one bit. Nothing extraordinary about the perfume. The reviews online are pretty misleading according to my perspective. Still if anyone is interested in buying i'd suggest you do give a sniff to other perfumes in that range in fact Lalique Extreme would be a better buy over MIB

Price range 4-6k

The sillage is for gucci oud intense. Gucci oud is softer and 2-3 hours of sillage

It is a good perfume but i don't like it THAT much. Sillage and longevity are good too. Sillage 6.5/10
Longevity 7/10

Starts with a spicy sweet opening and rests down with the spice ending up.

But after having it for 4-5 months i've not used it more than 10 times.

But it is a much better perfume than the simple OneMillion but unfortunately didnt give me the kick to keep it using daily.

Something must be wrong with your perfume, mine lasts for a good 3-5 hours. Given our atmospheric conditions, that's pretty good.

BTW what is best daytime summer fragrance in your collection. Best in sillage and longevity I mean.

Oh ok.
But if you're going to buy it then i'd suggest you try some others also in the same price range. It is not a very stand out sort of a fragrance, a cheaper version of Tom Ford Noir Extreme though.

Bro that would have to be Versace Blue, Eros, Bvlgari Aqva and Allure Homme Sport Extreme.

I usually dont buy light fragrances, i am more into heavy and strong fragrances, but specifically for summers would be these which ive mentioned above, Code is also a great summer fragrance but sillage is too light.

I already have Eros and love it, used to own Aqva but didn't like it, Aqva Amara is good though.

What are your thoughts about Sauvage, I sprayed it a couple of times and didn't find anything extraordinary in it.

In Middle East it's worthless to buy winter fragrances so I was thinking to buy a couple more summer fragrances.

I have Aqva Marine and Aqva Original, it was a waste of money. Original Aqva is somewhat good.

You should try Chanel Allure Homme Sports, buy the intense version, the regular one has pathetic longevity, projection and sillage.

Also if you're into spicy woody fragrances then Encre Noir but its a winter scent.

Since you're in UAE oriental fragrances is what will suit the ambiance.

I haven't tried Sauvage, so can't really comment.

Spicebomb is also a good smooth textured perfume for summers. But if you want a pure summers sort of a fragrance do try Versace Man Blue( this is the ultimate summer perfume, breezy, citrusy and light ), D&G the one gentleman, Ralph Lauren Polo Green and White bottle, Gucci Intense, Channel Bleu and the good old Aqua Di Gio.

Yesterday I went out to try a couple of new scents, specifically the CD Sauvage and Tom Ford Noir.
Below is my very crude review:

CD Sauvage
The scent appeared to be somewhat fruity on my skin. It certainly didn't give strong projection.
Very confusing to me.

Tom Ford Noir
Very strong opening notes and projection. The scent is very spicy and plenty masculine.
Somewhat, a rehash of existing perfumes in the market.

I didn't get to test their sillage. They were priced reasonably ~SAR 400 (roughly PKR 11,000 for 100 ml).
Overall, I wasn't too impressed with either, so didn't buy any of them.
