I have Aqva Marine and Aqva Original, it was a waste of money. Original Aqva is somewhat good.

You should try Chanel Allure Homme Sports, buy the intense version, the regular one has pathetic longevity, projection and sillage.

Also if you're into spicy woody fragrances then Encre Noir but its a winter scent.

Since you're in UAE oriental fragrances is what will suit the ambiance.

I haven't tried Sauvage, so can't really comment.

Spicebomb is also a good smooth textured perfume for summers. But if you want a pure summers sort of a fragrance do try Versace Man Blue( this is the ultimate summer perfume, breezy, citrusy and light ), D&G the one gentleman, Ralph Lauren Polo Green and White bottle, Gucci Intense, Channel Bleu and the good old Aqua Di Gio.

I got my sister a Cartier on her birthday, Baiser Vole, it was nice, got my mum Armani Si Intense, nothing comes close to that, next time you're getting bhabhi a gift, do buy her Si Intense, you guys would love it.

Want to get a surprise gift for my wife, so cant take her with me for trial. She likes floral perfumes.

Based on your review and online feedback, I am leaning towards Cartier Baiser Vole. Is it suitable for young ladies ?
Any other recent perfume, which amazed you ?

How's the performance of versace man Blue?

The performance is good.

It's a pure summer scent, i got it in 2008 from Dubai and for two years it remained my favourite for summers.

Sillage is absolutely amazing and longevity is also good, not extraordinary but good.

You should give it a try, i'm sure you'll like it.

Recent perfumes which i have tried for ladies

Giorgio Armani Si and Si Extreme/ Intense
The latter version is phenomenal.

For me the ultimate female scent was Dune by Dior. It is pure class

But Si is very much worthy to join the league.

If i were you i would chose from

Si, sweet and suave.

Decadence by Marc Jacobs, the bottle would be a big surprise for you guys, it's a lovely looking bottle. The scent opens up smooth and sweet vanilla marshmallow type and then settles down to a more bubblegum base.

Black Opium, this one is pure Vanilla

Cartier La Panthere, it is a mix of sweet and powdery floral fragrance.

Roberto Cavalli Paradiso Azuro, this one is flowry, rose and motiya ka phool type fragrance

Carolina Herrera Good Girl, sweet and mellow.

Cartier Baiser Vole is sweet and fruity, its a mix of both.

Also there was one Narcisso i tried for her, cant remember the name, it was also amazing, i think it was a light blue+grey bottle, it was just NR for Her if i am not wrong.

You may try these and i am sure you will like one from the above.

If she is not 30 years or above then do give a sniff to Viva la Juicy Gold Couture by Juicy Couture. There's nothing to hate about this lovely sweet scent.

Yesterday I went out to try a couple of new scents, specifically the CD Sauvage and Tom Ford Noir.
Below is my very crude review:

CD Sauvage
The scent appeared to be somewhat fruity on my skin. It certainly didn't give strong projection.
Very confusing to me.

Tom Ford Noir
Very strong opening notes and projection. The scent is very spicy and plenty masculine.
Somewhat, a rehash of existing perfumes in the market.

I didn't get to test their sillage. They were priced reasonably ~SAR 400 (roughly PKR 11,000 for 100 ml).
Overall, I wasn't too impressed with either, so didn't buy any of them.

I also can't make up a mind on Sauvage, I'm inclined towards it but couldn't find anything extraordinary except the magnetic cap

Tom Ford Noir is not one of the private blend collection that's why it's not expensive like Tobacco Vanille etc.

Don't worry I also started with Davidoff Cool Water and I still love it.

And I still don't buy super expensive fragrances.

Tom Ford Noir is also unimpressive.

I need to try TF Vanilla, but online reviews point towards a different persona as target customer...

It's a very dark fragrance and not for everyone in my opinion. I found Amber Absolute better than it.

I don't own any of them, just tried them in a store.

No not really, i think it has its own citrusy signature.

Ok so writing a new review for you over One Million Prive

I used it today before going to office, it still smells nice on my shirt sleeves and wrists, i used it sparingly but sillage was just for 4-5 hours.

At around 5 in the evening a client came to meet me and i was standing with him when he notices and complimented my perfume; he thought it was a great fragrance.

Maybe my nose was too used to it that i couldnt really judge the sillage but for a stranger it was still present.

So i'll give it a 7 in sillage and 8 in longevity because its almost 12 hours since i put it on and its still pretty strong on my wrists.

On my shirt it didnt last too well.

Therefore my conclusion is that its more of a skin friendly perfume than cloth.

Fridays are specifically Velvet Desert Oud

Other than that i'm using D&G The Royal Night since i got it recently, used Prive today to review it for you.

Sometimes Code and Valentino Uomo.

Haven't used any of the others, going to shuffle the collection a bit, will get the older perfumes to the front of the cupboard in order to use them too.

I usually get bored of a fragrance in a week or so, then i stop using it and get a new one.
But Velvet Desert Oud is an exception to that. It still amazes me the same way i used it for the first time.
