There might be some temporary shortages, but I do not think it is getting short.

Yesterday, the issue was there. I myself faced it. But it was temporary, not in the context of OP.

I had to have my car refuelled yesterday.

There is a big PSO Petrol Pump in H-11, opposite to Safe City Office. Petrol had got finished, and tanker was anticipated in 02 hrs.

I left and went to PSO Petrol Pump in H-13, near NUST, and there were long queues, not because of shortage and / or panic of people due to it, but due to the fact that they were operating their fuel station with very limited manpower (mostly had gone to their home stations to celebrate EID).

I just travelled from Bahawalpur to Islamabad. No shortage of petrol anywhere on route.
