That would be a fair assumption, yes.
But 2008 selling in smaller numbers is expected, unlike Stonic which was supposed to be a mass seller.

no, this is the size of Vezel, CH-R or MG ZS. In Malaysia they compared with Honda HR-V (vezel), Mazda MX3, Proton X50 and CH-R.

I made that conclusion because it looks like it has a partially black roof with body colored pillars. Just a hunch.

The 2008 is a B-segment 2 row 5 seat crossover and currently in the second generation, which arrived in outside world in 2019 with chassis code P24. It is based on EMP1 modular platform . This platform was developed in joint venture with DongFeng from China and underpins some chines brand vehicles as well as other PSA group vehicles from brand like Citroen, Vauxhall, Opel beside Peugeot.

As of 2008, it is 4300mm long ,1770mm wide,1550mm high while it has a wheelbase of 2605mm. Comparing other B-segments currently locally assembled is Kia Stonic which is 4140mm long,1760mm wide,1520mm high with wheelbase of 2580mm. So, 2008 is for sure longer and wider and automatically will have better space on the interior as well in comparison.

As of other B-segments currently we see in our markets; the MG ZS is 4323mm long, 1809mm wide, 1653mm tall while it has a wheelbase of 2580mm. So, ZS has same wheelbase but slightly longer and wider.

2008 comes with 44 liters of fuel tank. The boot can carry around 434 liters which is approx. 82 liters more than Kia Stonic. 2008 don’t come with spare wheel though in overseas market and instead offered with tire inflation kit, we might see the same situation.

What is the speculated price? I think sweet spot is between 4.5-4.8 million considering the prevailing high car prices.

Sweet spot for lucky motors would be anything above 5 million

They can't sell in those range, considering the price of Peugeot 2008 in other countries r higher than 5m+ also all those ckd is from Spain and you know the rate of euro these days. The base model "Active" will be lower than 5m I think somewhere 4.6-4.8m and Allure will be between 5-5.2m.
I hope to get the price by tonight from Peugeot Lucky Motor.

Well I disagree, Vezel and CH-R both JDM imported were success in mkt but the recent prices of imported gone up due to currency fluctuate and the duty/taxes has increase as well, this is the reason all the JDM imported sales have gone down from last year as fresh import will cost around 5-6m

So this black one seems to be the base 'Active' model with halogen headlights and analog speedo. But those seats don't look like something you'd get on a base model.

base model have fabric seats and the Allure model have leatherite seats. One thing i noticed the exhaust of both are same, so the copper color 2008 which had rectangle cutout in bumper must be CBU model.
