I think yaris and alsvin price increase is just the act of getting the benefit out of the situation. Technically 2.5% fed remain as is for 1001-1299cc cars.

But Vezel and CHR are hybrid fuel savers, so people see the extra premium on them as justified. 2008 doesn't have anything extra, just vibes.

Not in other countries even though corolla cross hybrid in Malaysia is for 136k ringit and 2008 is for 125k ringit. People feel more premium due to imported not coz of hybrid only, so now the price of CH-R and new Vezel is way more expensive now n doesn't justified the price with same features as 2008.

Barely anyone imports CH-R or Vezel anymore. The cost saving on fuel can not be justified against the insanely high price point.

Yes it's not fully loaded as International model , it doesn't have 8spd gears shifter as well. Screen size is small and few other thing is not added. I was told they want to keep the price below 5m which is still less than Malaysian n other Asian countries price.

8 speed is only in 155hp version? We aren't getting the GT premium (top of the line) so everything it has, will be skipped. May be the only exception is of panoramic roof.

No 8spd came in Allure & Active as well same power 130bhp, only some European countries have GT PureTech 155bhp 8spd version as it need higher RON fuel only. GT premium or GT line is like top of the line with highest spec'd features.

I guess this is the lower trim. The orange ckd that rolled off the assembly line had a sunroof if i recall correctly

Definitely not. For that you'd have to move up to the 3008.
