2008 CBU test model was running on regular super but using hi-octane is better.

Well i don't trust our regular fuel as most of the time quality are bad even sometime in hi-octane. I have 3 turbo cars so I only used hi-octane. I don't know what they (Peugeot Pakistan) recommend but I would suggest to use hi-octane.

I really love this car
It’s beautiful and the interior is very modern
Personally I would prefer this car over Sportage and Tuscon due to its interior layout, ambient lighting, lane keep assist and digital dash

However at 58 lakh it’s overpriced
This would be worth it at 53-55 fully loaded
This car also should have had a auto dimming Rear view mirror

Two major issues are the price and that it needs high octane
After registration and insurance this will touch 60

The fact that proton X70 is also priced similarly it makes this car a tough sell

I feel after some further price increases of competitors this car will find its place in the market for a very niche segment

If as consumer like you and I dont trust local blended regular fuel , I think Peugeot who is developing these vehicles for local market must not trust either. That's why I said, many will use what's is recommend in the booklet and if its regular, its calling for issues in long run.

Well I have been driving German turbo cars since 2012 and since then m so used to filling only hi-octane. I remember back in 2017, my 16' turbo civic had too much knocking issue from hi-octane due to bad batch and a friend had octane tester we used to check every pump. Most of the hi-octane fuel were showing 87-90 RON and in the end I had to stop driving civic turbo for 3 months until Honda recalled for re-mapping n detuned it.
Now since euro 5 is here there's no issue but you never know who is selling the authentic euro 5 fuel. Peugeot 2008 cbu model was in testing since 2020, m sure they might give better answer for that.

Went to check out the car yesterday. The high spec variant is quite a good option but the price compared to the car's size might be a deal-breaker for many.

Lucky group has lost it completely nowadays. They have started charging crazy premiums for their products.

Top end Peugeot 2008 allure doesn't have a lot of features that sportage alpha even has.

1.) auto dimming mirror
2.) Proper spare tyre. Not the makeshift small one
3.) No alloy on the spare
4.) Missing rear ac vents
5.) No dual zone climate control
6.) No heated side mirrors
7.) smaller tyres.

They have overpriced it by a million rs atleast.

They had a golden chance to phase out this sportage model by introducing it at a 4.5-4.8m range. Sportage is getting old now and a new sportage model would cost in 6.7-7m range. They have missed opportunity to create a hit new product in this price range of 4.5-4.8m.

No plan for Seltos at this time. Seltos becomes as expensive as Sportage.

Next Sportage will be priced above 6 Million and between 6.5 to 7 million and expect it next year
