I'm seriously considering it. Going to check it out today. I love small chuckable cars. They are fun to drive when paired with a torquey engine and a quick shifting transmission.

The only issue is the seating space, it is a 4 seater... there is an ugly bump in the back seat and no head rest for the middle passenger. Leg space is good enough for people upto 6 feet both front and back. For 4 seater, price is high... rest it has everything covered.

Does 2008 require high octane only?
Also should one wait for the electric version?
How far is it’s launch?

no, its been running fine on euro 5 regular super fuel. No idea when is the e-2008 going to launch as everything is bit slow due to logistic from Europe been disturb by Ukraine/Russia war.

Personally I feel this car is worth it
It’s a better buy than RS turbo too as RS will cost around 63 after changing tyres plus registration
This will cost 60 and delivery in a few months

It has good ground clearance and acceleration
Plus it’s absolutely beautiful
Interior is very modern

Only downside is lack of brake hold

Hello, I’m new to this group. Went to macca motors on Saturday. Had a test drive. Everything seems perfect except for the fact that I will only run on high octane. This is the only this which is putting me off. Any suggestions would be appreciated

Who told you to run only on hobc? You can use super regular fuel euro 5 as well.

Unfortunately that’s not the case. According of mr hamza and mr Tayyab ok macca motors,both of them categorically mentioned that it will run on hioctane .

I had a test drive and while dealership on Jail rd claimed it will run on regular fuel, the fuel tank clearly says 95 RON. BTW, HOBC makes no real difference to expenses due to being more economical.

They also claimed that it will give 14km/L however they n the literature I have read it will give 16-18 in city and up to 20 on long. Any owners of allure on this forum?

I know Lucky Motor head sales person, he clearly told me we were testing cbu unit for more than one year on regular super so they both r wrong that it will only run on hobc.

Well that’s a relief.both of the reps were pretty confident though .any legit contact no. Of any head rep from whom I can confirm this discrepancy. Any allure owners here

Even my Audi A3 1.8T shows 95RON, it's minimum RON requirement level in Europe as they have 98-100RON as well in some European countries.

But that’s an imported car. For a local car, sticker should be clearly saying 91 ron minimum but it says 95 here. Something only klm knows

CKD kits for Peugeot are imported from Spain. So most likely they have not localised markings like these on the petrol tank.
