the performance of the pug is phenominal these days... i serioudly wish that I take it for a dyno run to check the hp
after the air intake hose clamp fixing at ur place.... the performance is like never before... coz sumhow the setting of the pump or the freeflow airfilter setup has decreased the rpm where the turbo is activated...(pump timing is unchanged).. third and the fourth gear are most enjoyable now...
it starts after 60 kmph in 3rd gear..and take the car to over 110kmph... and in fourth gear.. it starts at 90 kmph and takes to over 140 kmph.... imagine the 5th... only on motorways...it starts at 120 in 5th
earlier the turbo was engaging at 80 kmph in 3rd.. at 105 in 4th gear.. ant at 135~140 in 5th gear..
so the acceleration to top speed in 3rd and 4th gear...are incredible...for the stock engine... a few days back.. i out ran a 96 exi from 7up signal to I-9 police station... we were really dragging... it wasnt a best of exi ... but still... he was on petrol ... offcourse the twist n turns in the road did help me..
can i get this type of performance.. or even close from CD20T in a 98 sunny...(let go the handling.. just the acceleration...)
