Philips Rally Vision 100/90 watts Installed and Review

Received my order today from an online shopping website .. that was Philips Rally vision 100/90 watts. I have also checked authenticity from Philips via Bar code reader.. Before i was using kotio 100/90 watts bulbs which were also brilliant .. but these Philips are far far brighter and better than kotio..
i like to mention here that i already installed 3 relays and also upgraded wiring for these high wattage bulbs... tomorrow will upgrade headlights Fuse to 35 Amp.

And here is a reference review of both kotio and Philips of same wattage.. and if you compare it with mehrans original bulbs which were osram 60 watts it is very bright
Note.: My head lights are little dusty due to today's rain and storm in Islamabad.

you put the relays into the original wiring? or made a new wiring loom and tapped it from the battery?

if so why are you installing a higher amp fuse in the original box?

Xulfiqar Bhai can you please tell me why cut off line of left side bulb is way up... while right one is accurate... adjustment required or some other issue??

the flick up of the line cut?

thats normal - its designed that way so your lights illuminate the signs on the road, they always will be on the passenger side of the car, you have RHD so the flick up is on the left, on LHD the flick up is on the right.

And i haven't replaced any fuse yet..did not get time for that..

i was reading an article some where on google and there they said that if someone if putting high wattage halogens then fuse upgrade is must .. well i have already upgraded wirring and relays..do i still need to upgrade headlight Fuse? stock fuse is 15 Amps i guess..

the original fuse is to protect the wiring which goes directly to headlamps. If you have installed relays in a way that the steering stalk only switches on the relays then the original 15A fuse is useless now. You need to install a new fuseholder in the circuit that you are using to power the headlamp bulbs.

Your amp draw at 100W is 7 amps per lamp- meaning a total of 14amps, you need to add 30% to this, so about a 20A fuse is minimum requirement for you. - not the original one though as its not even seeing 1 amp now.

Got it.. is there any fuse box available in market with single fuse hosing?

its sold at places which sell auto electric stuff or electronic component shops - its usually a nice little rubber item with a folding lid on it - or just find a CNG install shop and buy one from them, You can also buy it from scrap.

You could even buy bosch relays which have fuse receptacles built into them.

I am also searching for these bulbs again.. but manufacturing is closed for rally vision by Philips.. you may find any pair from Karachi market..
