My problem solved... Samsung firmware update received just now. Mobile updated to N9005zhuenj1. Now working like charm. Getting 8.8 mbps downloading speed at mobilink 3g in sialkot.

I called samsung Pakistan and asked about this issue.
They told me that ZONG is not included in the list of 4G operators, thus 4G option does not enables on zong sim.
and an update for note3 and note4 is on its way for Pakistan.

I have S5, so he said, samsung Pakistan hasn't launched 900F s5 LTE model, so we can't officially request Samsung Internation to release an update for 900F with 4G operator addition

Well i think i installed that update u r talking about. But in sialkot zong and warid not yet launched their 4g lte.

I have the Verizon Note 3 N900V. It is supposed to be 4G enabled and I have a Zong 4G sim also . I used to get LTE signals on my Nokia Lumia 920 but I don't get 4G signals on this Note 3. Why is this so ? is it because of the band difference of the 4g network or what ? is it possible to get 4g signals on this phone ? when I switch to lte mode only the phones signals disappear . Currently I am only getting H+ with speeds of around 13mbps.

Thanks, the details mentioned on that post were the same by default on my phone I didn't have to change anything but I still do not get lte signals, I know that the Verizon note 3 doesn't support band 3 lte where as zong has band 3 lte only, so is there any way to get lte working now ?

Incompatible bands cause problems.

Did you try advanced signal status app?. Root is required.

Open app > additional info > device info > preferred network type.

4g is activated from zong and it has 4G coverage where you live?

Set it on LTE only, for trial only, if it works, then you have a chance. After trial, set it back on default setting.

In my last post, I forgot to mention LTE/WCDMA setting, try that too.

These incompatible bands are big problem. If this doesn't work, then there is no solution of this band incompatibility, atleast in my opinion.

Have tried em all .. i guess band 3 isn't supported by my phone .. and zong is on band 3

By doing this. You will get lte network but it will not be visible as 4G.
