Hey guys. So I am running 4.4.4 right now on my XT1033. Waiting for 5.0 now. However, I wanna root my phone now but I have some questions related to the update that I wanna clear first.

1, I already have unlocked my boot loader, will that affect my phone in receiving the OTA update?

2, Can I root my phone without removing the stock recovery, since I won't be flashing ROMs now and I wouldn't need it.

3, If I can't root without removing the stock recovery, how can I go back to stock recovery?

4, In order to update, do I have to unroot and lock the boot loader again or is that not necessary?

That's all. Keep in mind that my main concern is that I want root along with, when the time comes, the OTA update installation without any problems.

I am not an expert of Motorola but as far as Samsung is concerned, you can not OTA after rooting

That's the case with most phones. You can't OTA because you don't have the stock recovery and the stock ROM, which is necessary for the OTA.
That's why I am trying to find a way to root without removing the stock recovery.

For your concerns, Android 5 and root.

There are two ways to update phone.
1) flashing latest firmware using Pc. (possible on rooted phones)
2) OTA updates. (Not possible on rooted phones).

Root your phone now, but when there is update of Android 5 available on internet, use 1) and then re-root it.

As salaam o alaikum spano bro hope u r fine and doing good in life. Well on my s4 and n3 i did more than 10 tests each on wifi and 3g with phones simultaeneously, both on same network, both held in my either hands, both using speedtest both connecting to same server, same location, same times tests were done.
both on 3g and wifi the n3 is MUCH MUCH slower than the s4 both on network and same wifi.surely there is something wrong with the hardware of firmware.can u tell me any sollution for better speed for note 3. Its n9005 model and version is n9005zhuenh4.
