The boot loader and modem are tar files and thus, have to use Odin. No issue there.
AROMA and ROM are flashable zips.

I'm just trying to figure out what to flash first- boot loader, modem or ROM?

While posting something, please mention skills level (noob, normal etc). It helps me to explain better.

Make backup first. Rom flashing will wipe phone memory and may brick phone, if done improperly.

A usual procedure is
Using cwm recovery, First rom, then aroma package. Cwm install zip files.

In my cwm 6, I have to use either sd memory card or sideload zip files, as it does not detect phone memory.

Then using Odin3.09, flash bootloader using BL and modem using CP, flashing it one by one would be better. Odin flashes tar files.

Do not expect it to start normally, without completing the whole procedure.

Wipe cache from recovery, if stuck in bootloop.

However, it is more advisable to also read the instructions provided with the package.

Android 2 can be easily rooted with eyes closed. Do it and let me know. Backup is necessary.

Found a more easier way. Most of the android premium version apps are readily available for download, very easily.

To get premium apps latest version for free,

Google 'app name pro apk'. Almost every website download links and apps are working, without any crashes.

E.g. rocket player pro apk, tunein pro apk etc, go launcher prime apk.

For latest versions,
Use Google play to check the latest version number and add version number before apk.
E.g. tunein pro 12.8 apk

Pro or premium, both terms can be used to search.

To install them (no root Is required), just untick 'Unknown sources' from settings > security (for samsung phones).

Better to scan them with security softwares.

I used black mart too, did not like It at all. It's just like torrents, android to android apps sharing, which I do not consider safe, as they share your apps too and there are lots of infected apps detected by Kaspersky.

My phone Kaspersky Internet security used to block it, when they try to share apps from my phone.

Not recommended at all.

All the apks I download, I scan them first on computer and then on phone.
KIS scan passes 99% of apks (including black mart installation) and I use 'verify and install' even for third party softwares. Never had a single problem, even on extended protection mode of KIS.

1% of those apks that were found infected (either from black mart or any website), I installed them after removing security software too, but they would cause some sort of crashing or lagging one way or the other.

Update: I just installed weather app from black mart and it is passed by both 'verify and install' and KIS.

So KIS does not block all third party apps.

Never installed the app. Went directly the to site and browse application. Just had these installed from there.

KIS scanned and passed weather installation from black mart.

It only stops infected files, whether third party or whatever.

Do mention the site, it can be used with KIS sometime for some specific apps that are not available elsewhere.

Update: black mart by yandex works good, It only share apps when uploaded to their server. Though use of security software is advised, for those still interested in black mart.
